It could be mine. That is how I remember it though. Just looked up AWB 29th June we announced him.

I think we are confusing quick here as from when we found out about it thanks to Matth, to us getting it done. Have we got it done yet officially?
How long has the window been open?

ESPN reporting that we have been pursuing him since January.

That makes sense. He was probably the alternative if we couldn’t land Bruno.
His name's been mentioned at least as far back as last summer, I think around the same time we were showing interest in Eriksen and Dybala though it was only in June when our interest became more concrete.
It seems we had to act now given other teams had approached Ajax about him.
It shows though when we need to act we can get deals done quickly although this wasn't really a deal that was overly complicated given Ajax's asking price was pretty reasonable.

Yeah it was, It took over a month to get done.
Apparently Dennis Bergkamp played a role in him joining us.
