OP, so sorry to hear about this.
Can't claim any personal experience, although a dear friend of mine passed away too soon, 10 years ago in October this year.
Keep talking to people, keep seeking support - there's lots of people who care about you.
very sad news sgt. time doesn't really heal but it softens the hurt. my sympathies.
Very sad to read this, Best to recoup is to be with the nearest ones and travel.
Sorry to hear this
Stay strong, surround yourself with those loved ones and grieve together its painful but a natural and important process. I like to remember the good times and ask myself what would they say to me right now?
sorry to hear this awful news
may she rest in peace <dove>
Sgt Wilko, I am so sorry to read your post. I hope you have family and friends there with whom you can share your pain and draw some little comfort. You will find your own way to deal with this terrible thing, I hope, but just take one day at a time and try to be kind to yourself. I wish you the very best for the future.
Awful news Sarge. Really touching words from you. I’ve no personal experience to share, but Keep those friends and family close by. Thoughts with you and your loved ones.
So sorry to read this, every day has to be taken one step at a time, everything is very raw now and sadly will be for a while, surround yourself with love ones, look after yourself and think as to how she would want you to take care of yourself. Most importantly talk, reminisce, cry, laugh, just don't bottle it up, this to shall pass
So sorry to hear this
I hope this site can and the support of its posters can provide some relief - even if only small
Sorry to hear Sgt. RIP
People have different ways of dealing with things like this but the usual things that get prescribed do tend to help - being around those close to you, keeping yourself busy with other things, and above all else time.
Just lost my Mum. That tore me up. Still, can't imagine the pain your going through Wilko. People told me that the pain lessens over time. But will never fully leave. Take comfort in the fact that you found each other. And that she'll be with you always in your heart. I know that won't help much right now. So sorry mate.
R.I.P.
Very sad news. I hope your family and friends can help you and each other as this is a truly awful time.
