It says 15m. I wouldn't spend 30m no but from what ive seen of him hes a decent keeper. Arsenal fans rate him. I dont like Kiko and wanted rid to be honest. I just hope Meslier is good enough. Unproven at this level.

£30m is including his wages.

He played in the recent charity cup and was brilliant in that game. I was basing my opinion on that game.

I’m really surprised we haven’t been in for a keeper. Not saying this guy was the one, but casilla isn’t up to it and whilst meslier has done well ... he frankly had barely anything to do at the back end of last season. Seems really high risk to me to go into a critical season in the top flight with a relatively untested youngster and kiko.

He's had a few good months. Would have taken the chance on him before then, when he would likely have cost 5-8m, but too dear for me at that price. Would rather have Romero anyway.

Reckon the club have faith that meslier can be keeper for us for a long time, so are willing to stand by him.

... I think it’s likely a signal that they do have faith in meslier lubo, so they must like what they see. Just feel it leaves us an injury or confidence crisis from the kiko lottery.

The club apparently want rid of Casilla, but aren't looking to sell him at the same time, which seems strange. Reckon Bielsa has faith in him as second choice. Could see goalkeeper change happening in Jan, if Casilla gets tired of being second choice.

... I think he’s close to unsellable lubes... Age, wages, remaining contract. We’d likely have to buy him out... if they think he’s an acceptable 2nd choice then they might as well keep him and/or maybe wait to see if another keeper comes available in the window

Would have thought some Spanish teams would have taken him, but maybe not.
