I am not sure what some people expect? It’s not like we have bought a load of top players and are now gonna walk the league. It’s gonna be a long season.
——
What we didn’t want, but half expected was a continuation of the tail end of last season. SL does not even have a plan A never mind B,C,etc. His team and substitutions are baffling at best. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different outcome, but SL continues regardless, cue the same lame post match excuses, one game in and I have already seen more than enough of this type of dire football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You do understand that other teams have tactics and good players don’t you? It’s not as simple as stuck two up front or switch a formation. You need to have a good balance as well. If it’s so simple why have we not made the premier league for 20 years.
We had our best finish for a long time last season. You would all be moaning about any manager we get in. It’s the same every year. Why don’t we try supporting one of them?

That’s just your opinion Rev! Not how I saw the game. Don’t see why they had any more desire than we did?
You really want to sack the manager after one game? Ridiculous! It’s the same every year from you. You seem to think we always have the best squad in the league and only a moron could fail to get us up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I disagree. I watched the game and QPR were better than us in every department. They outpassed and outplayed us. Our only threat was from the quality of personnel in our squad, and there are many. I just wanna see us compete, is that too much to ask for.

Yep, it is just my opinion - I didn’t say I want to sack the manager
But we clearly aren’t going to go anywhere with his and his useless tactics and attitude he instils in the players and towards the game
you do understand that other teams have tactics and good players
=============
Sorry, but to use your words, only a moron would think that QPR have a better squad in depth of quality than ours
Yet their attitude and approach wAs 100X better than our, hence the result
It’s one game Rev. Watford beat Liverpool last season and you know what happened to both of them. Hardly had an attitude problem did they.
It’s the attitude and approach that stinks in this club
We have the quality and depth to compete with anyone in this league - we showed that last season
Yet we continuously fail because the managers tactics and attitude and approach is all wrong
You don’t think we blew last season becausebwe didn’t have good enough players? The previous 9 months showed that we did - it was the approach and attic the and tactics that allowed us to creat the absolute impossible be some a reality last season - and that was down solely down to manager
RAE, other teams don’t need to have tactics and good players to beat us anymore, that is 3 from 21 points available with the end of last season counted, let’s face it, he has been sussed and has NO answer. All of our failings from last season are plain to see, Cardiff at home next, a real yardstick to go by keeping their current record at the CG. Yes they lost at home today to the Wendies but will see next week as the perfect opportunity to bounce back, let’s see whose tactics win out, shall we ?
How good do you think our squad is Rev?
Where do you think we should finish just based on squad alone, taking all other factors out?

reds - I hear you mate, and I’ll give it some time....but not much
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/startseite/wettbewerb/GB2
Where should the lines of Blackpool, Bournemouth, Brighton etc etc all have finished
They certainly didn’t have the best squads...but their approach and attitude had a lot to do with their promotions to the PL
We have one of the best squads in the league
But one of the worst attitudes, approaches and tactics in a game I’ve seen
To get the results we did last term away at Leeds, WBS, Cardiff, Fulham, Swansea etc etc showed just how good we were and are
Yet home results again Charlton, Hull, Millwall and of course Stoke along with numerous others showed just how crap our approach and tactics were when it mattered
Interesting table on market value of squads. Gives some idea of where we are at. Puts us above Brentford though and we all know how good they are. It shows there are teams with better squads in the league. Plus teams with less value able squads who do consistently better than us .
Thank you for proving my point - We’re in the top 6
QPR are in the bottom 6
I reckon he's got between 4 & 8 games and then he will be gone.

With an approach to games like that, I agree
Absolutely. I excuse for such a lacklustre and woeful approach - why we only started playing after we conceded us even more of an insult, because it proved we had the capability to compete from the start???
And yet another 94th minute goal conceded
It doesn’t prove we need to sack another manager Rev. It proves we need to be in the mix for a play off spot. I am sure we will be. It doesn’t mean we will beat all teams below us and lose against all teams above us does it!!
Did you watch the game Rev? Just wondered how you know it was so lacklustre? We had chances before the goal and plenty after.
Losing Watson and Cash is bound to affect us. Also missing Ribiero who was one of top performers last season.
But it’s a terrible run of form and I agree he’ll be gone if we have similar results over next 4/5 games

I haven’t said anything about the manager being sacked - I don’t know where you get that from - I’m simply stating that with a few more games like today’s and the attitude shown from the off - well it won’t matter what any of us think, because it’ll be the owner who will be making the change I’m sure
I’m just saying that the manager sadly going on today’s game and approach hasn’t learned much, and we’ve basically picked up from where we finished last season
The facts prove it them selves
Another loss
Another injury time goal conceded
Another pretty inept performance until we of course conceded
I would like us to try and play 4-4-2
Just to see how that pans out...just a go at it....PLEASE
Grabban has lost us the game today.
