I hope that was a joke. There is no right to give someone an illness that could possibly kill them.

Priti Patel is a nonce and so is every single cabinet minister.

I wouldn't snitch. And it is an absolute joke that they are bringing in this rule when the are sending kids to school, the pubs are open, you can eat in a restaurant, go pheasant shooting, have your eyebrows done etc. etc. People are coming into contact with each other all over the place.

We should either have a proper lock down, or say feck it, carry on as normal and those that are considered high risk should self isolate until we have a vaccine.

Talking of neighbours...

My next door neighbour's wife died last week and he's just asked me to help him access her laptop and change the settings. He wanted me to disable the 'P0rnography' filter because 'what else am I going to do for the next few months...'

In what world were the previous two comments meant to be taken seriously? Come on.

Don't agree with this at all.

Surely there has to be a sliding scale of measures if the economy is to survive?

The all or nothing approach would be catastrophic for so many people.

What percentage of people that aren't high risk are dying?

Im allowed to play football with 30 odd strangers but can't meet family if it's more than groups of 6 😂

Played 11 a side on the weekend. The guys in my team I know but we aren't exactly friends who meet a lot or chat a lot.
Plus we have subs..
Plus the opposition team who are literally complete strangers....

The 6 rule is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life from people that are apparently well educated.

I find it ridiculous that the people who are not held accountable by the police, are not adhering to International Law are suggesting we should snitch on our neighbours?

Feck me - If that doesn't sum up the Tory party.

errrrrrr,.... a small percentage?

Oh I see, so because there's a low risk of young people dying, young people should be allowed their freedom?

Sorry, with a virus that you can catch from anyone it doesn't really work like that.

posted on 15/9/20

Hopefully when they find a vaccine they make it expensive so only those who are contributing highly to the economy can afford it. If you are not contributing to the economy then you can not have any complaints about dying.

I do not like the idea of a society that snitches or a government encouraging snitching for petty offences

but at the same time I find people's response interesting to Priti Patel. I contrast this to the response and encouragement of snitching earlier when it came to cummings driving across the country to stay with his relative.

Is snitching only ok when it is tories (or more specifically brexiters) that are being snithed on?

Yes, that is how many 'young' people see it.

So. Don't kill you own mum/granny should be the stark message the government pushes. As this is the reality.

Why we need a rule of 6. If not less.

To be fair, I can see and understand the distinction between someone involved at the cabinet office in setting policy being caught breaking the rules that he helped write, with grassing up your neighbour for having 7 people around for their daughter's barbecue.

posted on 15/9/20

The government have allowed this to becoming about grassing people up.

It furthers people arguing amongst themselves and blaming each other, and takes the spotlight away from them.

posted on 15/9/20

The UK Gov are now realising what a terrible job They've done and now, with this snitching, are hoping to pass blame onto the public.

From what I can see we've handled it much better in Wales and I pity my English friends who have to put ip with Johnson.

Not sure whether this makes you a honourable neighbour or a shameless online pawn addict!!!!!!

disclaimer: fully aware it's not spelt that way. The other way is banned (as Mrs Dunne often says!!).
