second origi leaves and then we are down to brewster (strongly rumoured to be sold) minamino (not a wide forward, not a striker) ox, shaqiri as the options.

Minamino can play in the Firmino position but lacks the pace to play wide.
Liverpool need at least 3-4 signings to be sure of retaining the title.

Lets be totally honest, Minamino was signed for marketing reasons, Shaqiri hasn't cut it although on his day can be a joy, not many have come in a Liverpool shirt.
Still think you need a forward that's below the level of the main 3 but better than those behind because they are well off it.
I think we're absolutely fine as long as we get another 50 games each out of Salah, Mane and Firmino but I'm not sure how realistic that is in a compressed season. Not without a drop in form anyway.
Minamino appears to be the first alternative but imo we don't have enough options, not if we sell Origi anyway. I like Ox but from attacking mid rather than wide. Keita has played there but to little effect. Shaqiri just doesn't seem trusted now. That might actually leave the 17 year old Elliott as our second best option!
We're still a superb team but it would concern me slightly if our forward options (be it Origi or Brewster) were sold without replacements signed.

How many times?? We won’t be spending that money to get those players in!
There’s been a global pandemic and it’s not just about buying players and that’s it. We are right at the top of the league on outgoing wages and have no fan revenue atm.
Every club in the world would want to bring in 3-4 players in every year but it’s not realistic, especially what’s happened this year.
Klopp won’t be taking the League cup and fa cup seriously anyway so you can take that into consideration.

Have you watched any of Minamino's performances for RB Salzburg? I hadn't seen anything of him before be signed but even watching his CL highlights shows there is a real player there.
I do question whether we'd have brought him if the price were 40m as opposed to 7.5m so I think he might have been an opportunistic signing but it's incredibly dismissive of his talent to suggest he was brought for marketing.
Minamino was our best player pre season. He’ll come good just watch.
