When Bale comes into the starting XI

Maybe a contender for England (though I would say City at least have a better front three), but not Europe. Bayern alone have Gnabry, Lewa, and Sane, with some serious depth supporting them. Di Maria may not be the best, but an attack with Neymar and Mbappe will always be amongst the best.

And then there's Harrison Bamford Costa to compete with.

Certainly be one of the best front 3 in the Ropey League!

I'd wait for Bale to kick a ball before you start making claims like this given he's barely played over the last 12 months.

He'll still probably be good but he's unlikely to be at the same level as the guy who left you 7 years ago.

Mousers all over this article. If you are just going to say no. Then give reasons why Spurs have not the best front three.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean this is an easy one.

The best front three play for the team that won the league at a canter last year. That's the best front three in the world and play in the same league as Spurs. So that's that settled.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That doesn`t make them the best front three just because you won the league. You may has well say Celtic have the best front three because they scored more goals than Liverpool, and won the Scottish Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but we won the league Spurs played in. You really think Bale make up the FORTY point gap between us and you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn`t know they forty point gap was added onto this seasons total. Have they changed the rules. You add the points gaps on from last season to this.

All the Madrid players are jumping ship from the ageing and geriatric Madrid team to play for a proper club like Spurs. No wonder Ronaldo left. Not a plastic wannabee club like you support.

I think with these signings you will certainly have closed the gap a bit on Everton and Leicester but they are still the better sides.

In theory Sandy! In theory!

Son is a danger in behind all day long, I wonder if Bale will be too. I think the key is how well they combine with each other.

One thing to remember, Bale has a terrible injury record and has not played more than 60% of Madrid's matches over the last few years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I get that mate, but I am sure Spurs can get a tune out of him, even if only for a few months, would be awesome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What have you seen from Jose to give you that faith?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jose has won more of everything in his career than the manager that you idiolise, so plenty to be happy about with Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, won, past tense. What has he done at Spurs or even in the last 3 or 4 years to give you that confidence?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well you really don`t know what he will win at Spurs do you? Unless you can see into the future. I may as well say Klippoty well get Liverpool relegated in a couple of seasons.

Well it’s already 3 points after 2 games. You were absolutely rubbish vs Everton last week and first half yesterday, Southampton could’ve been 3 or 4 clear by halftime.

We have had top quality frontlines for a few years but if you can’t defend, you’ll win nothing.

-Docherty- - Dier- -Toby- - Requilon

You think that’s a top 4 back line?

Everton what a dic** head, clueless. What because they beat us ? Everton will be below 7th at best mark my words. They are still not as good as Spurs. Getting all giddy because Everton won their first 2 games.

posted on 21/9/20

I agree that Everton haven't played anyone decent yet but they can only beat what is put in front of them. We will only find out how good they really are when they face one of their fellow big 6.

It's a fair question. Liverpool have two top quality in their three, but Firmino lets them down.

Imo, Son and Bale will probably not be consistent enough, but on their day next to Kane they could be devastating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Firmino is the most important player in our front 3 so that's an interesting observation...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bale is a countrymile above Firmino for quality. Mane is decent I will give you that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bales a golfer he's forget how to kick a ball sandy, its like fowler coming back to us, never the same

Everton have a better midfield than Spurs!

Everton have A better defensive line than Spurs, the fullbacks are a level above.

Goal keeper and lack of depth upfront will cost them for me but you are at a similar level, no Europe to worry about for them!

Why are you constantly on a Spurs board ? Clearly obsessed, or just bitter you are paying half of Bales wages whilst he plays for us

Bale will make up a very dangerous front 3 no doubt but Spurs will have to start winning trophies. Bale has won the lot at Madrid, a glorious trophy cabinet. Spurs win nothing. Start winning and winning big with this new 3some then you can start debating about having one of the best attacks in Europe. Liverpool can probably lay claim to the best in Europe. Spurs don't even factor yet.

Just taking advantage before he goes on a filtering rampage after we beat Spurs, if it takes him that long!

Best thing that ever happened to this modern day Liverpool side was the 4-1 beating we got at Wembley, haven’t looked back since then.

And some of my fellow Spurs fans are getting giddy at winning one game against a woeful Southampton. I'm delighted, of course, but lets see what happens over the next few weeks.

If Bale clicks back into his old self then it will be a fantastic front three.

Not the best around, no, and possibly won't thrive under Jose, but it will certainly cause defences problems.

As a Spurs fan you get this alot.

People hate and can't understand the size of the club despite the lack of success.

We are a bit like the Millwall of the Prem in that no one likes us and we don't care.

Don't think its going away either I live 60 miles away from the nearest Prem team so with no local allegancies its a good barometer as to whos hot and whos not. My 8 year old sons year group at school is all Liverpool and Spurs (not a City top in sight) and thats mainly down to Kane and Salah.

The next generation is coming along nicely.
