The issue is sandy changing his opinion when it suits him rather than it being because he has a reason for thinking differently.

Sandy said bale was overrated 3 years ago. What has changed in those 3 years other than bale now being at the club that would warrant sandy to go back on that?

Would anybody have Modric back?

I'll say yes so I'm not included in bats' next article

You'd think there would be a time limit for mocking someone who once said something silly, but apparently not:

If bale had improved recently it would make sense that sandy has changed his mind, but literally the opposite has occurred

Well Modric is 35 so I'm going to say no. Would rather see how Ndombele and GLC get on, and if we need someone else which we may do, let it be someone younger.

He's already admitted why - it's cos he plays for Spurs now.

His opinion on Aurier will change as soon as he leaves.

30 is only 15 in scouse years

This is precisely why you should say you want something if it happens and you don't want it if it doesn't happen so that you are covered for the future.

Those comments were in response to "Would you BUY Bale back"?
That was based on his full £600k PW wages and a potential transfer fee.
If the question was "Would you take Bale back for a season loan with an option for a 2nd if we choose, no transfer fee and Real will pay £350k PW of his wages", you would have received different answers.
We know he is potentially injury prone and it may not work out, but with the deal we've got for him - it's a bit of a no-brainer TBH.

How long did finding these quotes take Bats ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He started about five years ago.

Totally pointless article, unless every supporter in world football since the 1870s has always held the same view about every player that did or did not play for their club.

OP

SUPPORTERS DO CHANGE THEIR MINDS ON ALL MANNER OF THINGS RELATED TO FOOTBALL. IT IS NOT SET IN STONE THAT SUPPORTERS CAN NEVER CHANGE THEIR MINDS.

Get a life fella. Embarrassing article really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would be understandable saying he's not that good anymore and then saying actually, let's give him a chance. But not saying he's finished and then saying he's one of the best players in the world when he's done fack all in between those two comments.

Tbf most of those are based on the huge financials it would’ve cost to get him.

Here’s a comment I posted a couple days before it broke we was in for him

I’ve always been against the bale signing mainly because I like signing the young 21/22 year old and seeing them progress and he’s a injury prone 30 something.

I’ve done a 360 and think for the prices begging quotes and even at half his wages I think it’s a must now. Just to show the squad and the fans levy is committed to trying to push us on again
