Should add that there is no guarantee all games will be continued to be shown live on these platforms past the end of the month.

With fans not being allowed back in, I think the chances it will be extended are strong.

I like the spread and it will be a godsend if there's another lockdown.

However it's ridiculous it's been delayed again, it's been demonstrated in other countries (and it pilot games in the UK) it can be done safely, plus there's little evidence it's spreads so wildly outside.

Agree - this should reduce the likelihood of fans attending the grounds

But not guaranteed. For example, the Championship clubs stream games for a tenner each. It may go down that route now it looks like it will be a long term measure. The companies were not exactly quick to offer to show the extra games this month.

Football is my favourite TV show. I don't mind when the episodes are on.

Keep it staggered like it has been for me

Surely all games will continue to be broadcasted? The only reason they haven't been before is because there's a law in place that makes all 3pm Saturday games off air to not affect attendances.

I thought the point of the live audience was to give us tv viewers a better experience watching at home. Why would they have an audience at 3pm if it's not on TV?

3pm blackout is outdated and moronic.

A game being shown on a Saturday afternoon would in no way lower attendances!

As a fan, a spread of games is great, it makes football more accessible and it means I can watch any a game I choose.

I have a season ticket at OT so it's not like I'm used to 3PM kick offs anyway, since we rarely have them.

as long as you watch it in order

I preferred when Saturday had lots of 3pm kick offs but now that GSS is trash this works out better

Not for the big clubs no but for the many nonleague clubs it could shown across the north east for example. Clubs attendances are better when Newcastle/Sunderland are away from home.

Not necessarily in the way they are now. Either not spread out (CL/EL will make it harder) or on a different platform that is more beneficial to clubs (like lower leagues)

Imo it's a bit of overkill now. There are generally no more than 3/4 fixtures worth watching each weekend.

I quite like there being a few Saturday 3PM kick offs to follow the goals going in.

Certainly when fans are back, Saturday 3PM games are the best. Would not like to be going to games at 8PM on a Saturday or 7PM on a sunday. It's already bad enough with the 4/5 televised games at different times.

You dont have to watch every game though. Every club has fans

Should games like Burnley v Brighton just be scrapped altogether? They only took place so that unemployed people in run down towns had something go out and do at the weekends. They do not really add anything to the TV show and no one watches those episodes anyway. So with no one watching on tv, and no unemployed people able to get out the house, shall we just bin them and just show episodes that are going to get high viewing figures?

Or instead of Burnley v Brighton being shown, they could replace it with a variation or sequel to a recent popular episode. Like if United v Liverpool took place the week before but Bruno was suspended, and there was a consensus on social media that if Bruno had been playing that United would have won, then make an episode where Bruno is allowed to play and the viewers get what they want. They do it in boxing. They don't just get two homeless guys to fight and then expect people to watch it on tv.

loving the spread of games, football pretty much all weekend.

The lack of fans is having a major impact on the games i watch, the games are nowhere near as engrossing imo.

I dont get why games are being broadcast on BBC (free to view). Supporters have to pay to watch football either live at the ground or on subscription TV. Which is the point of it all.

People who won't pay to watch TV (either live or on a screen also moan because clubs wont pay top dollar transfer fees and wages. You couldn't make that up.

What about showing live games an hour and a half late Live on TV, then when Crystal Palace score three goals at OT the boffins at Sky/Bt or wherever can edit the game to show a 1-0 win for United
The bonus of this is that there was no one there to witness it live, so it didn’t happen

BBC arent getting these games for free, and everyone pays a yearly subscription by force for the BBC. they should of been competing for it years ago tbh.
