“It's been warm and sunny, but it changes tomorrow. So I did avocado, then a salad of tomatoes, tuna, egg, feta, olive, potato,,followed by chocolate mousse. Vacqueras wine.“

Life’s alright isn’t it!

For the middle class OP it is

You don't have to be middle class to enjoy food, or life.

What is considered middle class in the UK probably cost you about a tenner in France?!

It's wine where the savings are, and alcohol in general.

Oh my

When I lived abroad, I used to make salmon with potatoes, lemon and dill all the time. Don't do it so much these days and I really ought to.

You can even put the Tumeric leaves into a wrap around parcel, looks very impressive it does ! again with a nice baby leaf salad.

Where have you been?

They’re great - also in sunflower oil. Don’t know if it’s weird but I have them with pasta for a quick meal.

I cooked a seabass fillet (fried), served on a bed of mash, shallot and white wine sauce, with a side dish of asparagus wrapped in parma ham. None of which came from my garden.
Although, I have grown a load in my piece of garden converted to an allotment.
Currently finishing the night off with a nice whiskey followed by a nice red wine.
Just wish I didn’t have work in the morning. 🤣
