I'd say you'd have to ask Ole tbf.
Not fair to ask fans who don't even live in Manchester.

I rated him higher than Lindelof. At least he’s not gonna be bullied by strikers. But I doubt he can play more than once a week without damaging his leg.
Bailly is a liability just like Lindelof, except Lindelof stays fit.
Bailly hasn't had a run of matches yet - he gets injured on his 2nd or 3ed match. I hope that now's the time and we keep him fit. The disaster will grow out of him as he gets time on the pitch. We looked much better with him next to the skipper. He will come good for the club this season!
He is not among the top defenders.
But, he is strong, he is skilful, he understands how to use his body against physically hard attackers. If he can stay fit, he should start over Lindelof who is just a wet rag.
Jose wasted decent fees on signing both
Simple, he’s made of glass like Jones
Probably fitness.
Not sure he’s the answer to our Maguire + 1 equation though.

I don't think he is either, even if fit. Both are prone to being drawn towards the ball, you need somebody to cover for Maguire.

Agree - my remaining hope for Maguire is that a proper reader of the game alongside him will make him look better.
I know some people say Terry read the game well but personally I think he thrived from having partners like Carvalho and Gallas.
To me its Axel who looks the most natural partner to Maguire in our squad. Serious doubts about him though unfortunately - he hasn't played a game for 10 months now.
because he cant be trusted to be fit for more than 3 games.
if that wasnt an issue, he would be.

No, I think that he is a nailed on starter because of his fee and so the best we can hope for is to find someone that gets the best out of him.

Fair point.
Both have pros and cons... I don't think a strong argument can be made for one being better than the other tbh.
I'm hoping Tuanzebe gets fits and fights for a place, he has the tools to take that spot.
If Bailly could stay fit, I'd prefer him over Lindelof, and that's not just based on this season so far. But I don't think he's the long-term answer either.
Its amazing after paying silly money we need someone alongside maguire to get him to play better, surely it should be the other way round
Also personally would get rid of our entire fitness team because they dont really seem to be benefiting the players at all, we look shattered all the time

Same problem with Pogba Pay £80m+ for players and then decide who we need to help them play well.

Exactly its ridiculous
Because Lindelof is a better defender and can actually stay fit. Bailly is the Ivorian Phil Jones.
