Suarez and Diego Costa up front for Atletico at the same time, being managed by Simeone

4 million for Chewie, we should have had a bite at that.

Wolves look like they’re signing Semedo for about £25m, really good business.

I don’t look at their squad and see many good options for us though. Dembele, maybe Alba for a couple of seasons.

I'll give them 20 quid for Messi

Barca are in serious financial trouble.

It was coming even without Covid. The age profile of their squad and their financial situation was always going to be a massive shiiiit show.

If we can't get Sancho then we should try take Dembele on loan with an option to buy. He's too injury prone to buy right now, but a loan paying all his wages could be help Barca and give us a chance to see if he can stay fit. I can imagine he is on 100k+ at Barcelona.

They reported buying Dest from Ajax. Good player.

Suarez will be a top signing for someone, but it’ll be one of those signings where eventually they’ll be left with a player on massive wages who can’t cut it anymore.

He is going for half his wages to Atletico

And that still means he’s on what, £200k per week?

Selling Suarez was the right decision, his legs have gone; no longer good enough in the big games.

Vidal could've easily carried on another year, great player

Semedo being sold is a mistake. He has a lot of potential and I won't be surprised if City or Juve poach him from Wolves in a year or so.

De jong on around £360k a year. Absolutely insane if true.

To be honest, I've always wanted to see this.

It's only about 6 years too late now.

They will discover that since the orphanage they've been carrying two halves of a broken amulet. It would be incredible to see these two existential brothers united with their existential father.

Suarez still got 16 goals in 28 last season. That's a pretty good signing for Atletico who I'm surprised Barcelona would be selling him to. Wouldn't that be like Aguero going from City to Chelsea or something?

Similar to us barce whilst having a great acadamy hit the jackpot within that period where messi, xavi, iniesta and a few others all came through within a few years, similar to us in 1992, we always have produced good young talent but they are always measured against that early 90s class, they have spent just as bad as us since fergie left its just they were left with a much stronger base and messi of course
