In terms of points totals I don't see how Thiago makes Liverpool better in that regard. What he does do is make them a much more rounded side and less reliant on the full backs for creativity. For me the best signing of the window and will allow them to compete on multiple fronts. Hope I'm wrong though.
When I say creativity I don't mean assists. His stats aren't that great but he's not that type of player. Will allow ball retention and progression through the middle.

Bielsa likes to integrate them first though so wouldn't read much into that just yet, he's been bought to play.
Once he's got the system he will play.
still gotta wait on bale/thiago, well most of these signings really till we can properly judge.
Thiago coming on against an injury stricken chelsea side who were down to 10 men doesn't really give you an idea, and he gave away a pen.
Going to have to wait a few months before we judge

The top 10 list of best signings this summer seems to be the one's who have captured the most media attention rather than "the best". Obviously I agree with some like Bale, Thiago, James Rodriguez, etc.
Emiliano Martinez could prove to be one heck of a signing for Villa in terms of their season for instance.
Chelsea have spent £250m but Liverpool have only spent about 30 quid of their signings’ full fees, it’s funny how the mind of a Liverpool fan works.

Quite regularly.
Cutrone, Afobe, Bonatini, Miranda, Mir are a few. They are run like a top Portuguese club, buy in bulk, hope enough turn out good.

I think you can only really class Cutrone and Miranda as us getting it wrong. Bonatini was top goalscorer in our promotion season and cost us £5 million. I think that's a good deal.
Adobe we loaned to give us more options in the championship with an obligation to buy. Got promoted, signed him for £10 million and then sold him for £12 million to Stoke the same summer. I would class that as good business.
Mir we signed for a few million and has spent his whole time out on loan in Spain. He is now playing in La Liga and we stand to make a profit when he moves on. Has attracted interest from quite a few La Liga teams for when his 18 month loan ends.
Even Cutrone looked ok to be fair. He just got homesick and never settled.
Nelson Semedo has the potential to be a great signing, will suit us perfectly. He and Traore on the same side will give LBs kittens
