I have never seen either kick a ball in my life, but I'm excited.

Dance with me Flashy. Skriniar is better than any of our centre backs. He would be the best centre back at our club no doubt about it

massive pressure on Jose if we pull off these two.

It's just pleasing to see us addressing these obvious areas and with the sprinkling of a Gareth Bale on top.

Why is that the first comment you make. Not "Wow I'm so happy to sign new players" But "New players = pressure on Mourinho"

Almost like you want Mourinho to fail

posted on 23/9/20

Agree

If we can add the above and a DM ala an Ndidi or Kante. That would be unbelievable. We definitely need a player like that.

why would i want Mourinho to fail? that would mean the team i support would also fail.

The pressure was on Levy and now has been shifted to Jose now he is getting the players in he wants, and being backed.

Fully agree. For me this should be a priority not a bench warming striker. DM first, CB then forward should be the priority order.

Ok but why is your first reaction to mention pressure on Mourinho? you want him to fail. either actively or subconsciously.

Regardless if Jose is backed or not he will always be under pressure by our own fans.

Last season when Kane, Son, Stevie B and Sissoko were injured he received zero sympathy or any kind of empathy from some posters on here and they were calling him out.

Phenom you were part of that too.

well no. If we had been in a situation now where we were not getting players Jose wants etc, then i would be saying pressure is on Levy. Which it still is on Levy too but before Jose didnt have his 'players' so to speak so can now be judged more fairly.

Poch should be thinking about the time he played Son left back in a semi final, playing an unfit Kane ahead of Lucas in the CL final and talking about leaving before the final too.

OK but help me understand why the first comment you make on a thread about tottenham signing new players is about how signing the players puts pressure on Mourinho. It's not to say something positive about signing the players, it's not to ask about the players, it's not to discuss how the players may fit the team (All of which would be more normal reactions), it's to mention pressure on Mourinho.

It looks like to me that you are maybe relieved that a potential excuses Mourinho may have had has been removed. I wonder why you might feel that way if you do not have an agenda against Mourinho like you claim.

Who ? If we can pick up Skriniar for 30/35 mil, absolute bargain. There’s not many established centre backs available.

It's a strange reaction though isn't it. To see Tottenham are close to signing new players and your first comment is to (Probably because you're excited about this) say how their signings puts pressure on Mourinho. I don't think you would make a similar comment if Pockets was manager.

im a football fan, we(the majority) react as per the feeling around the club at any given time.

any Jose comment i may have made would have been made flippantly, the same as i would have done in Poch's first season also.
