As a Barça fan, don't your eyes bleed when you see it written Barca?

Playing well after time is up, is definitely a throwback to the Fergie days.

Ole is the best manager United have had since Fergie and long may he reign.

But some of them players are cheating on him and others are not good enough

Seeing so many penalties for handball these days. I said last week we should just practice hitting opposition players hands in the box as it gives penalties these days lol. Palace got one the other week and had one against them now and todays one was the most blatant penalty as hand was high but the other 2 were never penalties really as they were in a natural position and so close. I agree todays was close but was in an unnatural position.

First you need to practice getting the ball to the oppo box a bit more often

Still don't get how the 2 penalties Palace got and conceded so far were penalties. Both ball to arm and in natural position from close range.

Tbh as soon as the ref is instructed to go to the screen, they will just go with what ever the VAR officials say they think the decision should be, whether right or wrong. I thought the concept of checking the screen would be a welcome one, but not when the ref doesn't have the courage to stick by their original call when it's correct

Oh well, you have certainly had this paid back with interest, given you are now the only team in history to get a penalty after the game has finished. So stop your moaning.

The referee didn’t whistle until after the incident so that was live play still being reviewed.

it's a staggeringly obvious point, but one that seems to have been missed by those who would rather scream corruption and spend their weekends in paroxysms of rage.

Correct. This would apply to any incident occurring within playing time, which the handball was. A VAR review will always take 30 seconds to a minute. The fact that the final whistle was blown in between is irrelevant, it was the correct decision to get the ref to review it once it was clear an infringement had occurred

I genuinely think many folks are masochists. They love feeling like they've been treated badly.

you do wonder at times why some people bother following a sport that they are convinced is corrupt, and that brings them nothing but anger and misery.

god forbid that united ever benefit from an incident like this, i think the internet would break:

“Watching Man U has been entertaining”.

No argument there.

“Man U of old, are now back”

Not a chance while the owners are only interested in revenue and the first VI are relying on a well-intended but out of his depth Norwegian to lead them to glory.
