Nah. Obviously performances have to get a hell of a lot better. Lets see where we at, at xmas.
As much as I hope I am proved wrong I just don't see ole as the man to deliver trophies. We still look fragile as a team with many issues. Some of our problems are not his fault, but I don't see this season being a success tbh
Yes, the sooner the better. Poor tactics, poor team selection, poor substituons. His signings are beginning to dissolve like salt in water : James is poor, AWB is a good tackler but a poor defender, and Maguire is not half the player we thought he would be. He also prefers the horrible Lindelof to Smalling and Bailly. The United job is just too big for home.
Faack off Oles at the wheel
He should stay
Though I expect him at least to be more proactive aggressive and be vocal on the sidelines when his team is underachieving...sitting on the far side crossing your legs does not send urgent vibes to the 11 players on the pitch

We’ve had trophies over the past few years but never looked like building a team. We actually look like a team again but still with things needing sorting.
So I’d take a lack of trophies for the next 2/3 years if at the end of it we have a proper team & squad. I’m not interested in short term success as we saw under Jose for example.
No, not at all tbh. I'm not sure he's the right guy long term and I'm not sure what credentials got him the job to begin with. But he got third place last year and everyone can see that we're playing with a half fit team at the minute.
My main tactical issue with him, which I've mentioned a few times is the insistence in bringing on defenders for midfielders and attackers late in games. If we're struggling to hold on to leads, it makes no sense to invite more pressure through your substitutions imo. But it's something he's done repeatedly, often to our detriment. Bar that one big issue, I wouldn't have that many complaints.
But he's not at the level, or anywhere near it, of someone like Klopp. And if we are serious about contending for league titles again, then there will be a decision to be made at some point in the future there.

You gotta give the man the benefit of the doubt this season as last season he brought us to third...the team needs couple of weeks to gell and synchronize....thought Ole should be more aggressive against players not doing their tasks
OGS? Wtf are a team like utd doing with an uproven second tier manager like him anyway. ...hope he stays for years.
No way near Klopp, pep, Ancelotti or even poch tbf.
If he didn’t use to play for you you’d all want him gone. Lots of managers could get better from your squad. He did well to stabilise things, but I don’t think he’s the manager to take you to winning big trophies. The best move your club could make would be to get a top manager
We got a good third last season
We've played two league games and a caraboa cup game and won two of them..
The windows not closed yet.
He hasn't got the players he wants and needs.
No he shouldn't be sacked.

And that's a fair argument. If I thought ole was the one to get a title winning level team together in 2 years then I would be the first to sign up for a couple of barren years.
My concern is the problems that he inherited with the team are still present and he doesn't appear to be doing anything to change it. Anyone with eyes can see lindelof and Maguire isnt going to work as a pairing.
Maybe it's the pessimist in me but I just don't see things changing. Whether there is a manager out there capable of building a title winning squad with Woodward overseeing things is another matter.

Ole out, today? No, don't be silly.
If the club has anything approaching some long-term planning (and that I often doubt) then it should be at least thinking about who the next manager will be, if not informally holding some discussions with them. Then at least we would be prepared if either a) we're 10th at xmas or b) 5th or worse at the end of the season.
But the notion of sacking him now, 2 games into the new season, is genuinely idiotic.

He needs to get tougher on players who are not performing. He still comes across as a bit soft on the players and is still overly reliant on Fernandes. Hopefully a couple of new additions come in and galvanises the players but again not convinced that is going to happen either
No point.
It's the deadbeats that need to go first..
Ole has no more than 7 United quality players to choose from - and not all of them are available

You might be right. I see it that he’s moved us in the right direction overall more than most and we had a good run of good football this calendar year. If that stagnates or reverses then I might swing towards your line of thinking. For now, I’m still positive and hope he can build on what he’s built already. It takes every team a few years to build properly.
Plus I’m not fond of chopping and changing manager so often as it sets the team building back a year two.

A club like United should hire the best manager possible, that is, the like of Guardiola and Klopp.
