Mendy is done for me, he's had his chance now and Garcia is nowhere near ready for this level, he will suit the slower pace in Spain.

Mendy's probably good at golf, every cross was put into Kasper's arms with uneering accuracy.

More than just Walker I’m afraid Mankini 🤣

Walker really is one of those 'dumb footballers isn't he. Especially of the pitch. I used to think he was decent too.

What's happened to him?

What is Rodri on about, they were lucky.

Our defending has been shocking for a while now, he is way of the mark with that comment.

Pep saying Leicester did not want to run, maybe if the tempo was quicker from us then that would be irrelevant.

When we are bad we are very very bad. Walker and Mendy were really foolish to put hands on the Leicester players thus allowing the ref to give a penalty. Yes the dives were embarrassing but to put your hands on an attacker in that situation is stupid and will result in a penalty 9 times out of 10, even without Vardy launching himself forward like he did for the first.

Terrible result and shows that a team that comes with the intention of putting 9 defenders within 10 yards of the box can frustrate a City team without its strikers. Other than the penalty Walker did ok, Mendy did not but I suppose no alternative was fit.

I thought that. Ake was ok. But the other 3 at the back were awful, lost the man for every goal.

Further up we weren’t exactly great either, paid the price for not pushing hard enough for the second goal, and in the end I wasn’t totally really surprised by the result.

Serious rocket up ar5e needed after that. And if Kante wants to leave Chelsea I’d be making contact there, Rodri isn’t mobile enough imo to screen the defence.

I don’t like seeing that either. But we were the wrong side of the man for all of the penalties, even if they made the most of it for all 3, we never had a leg to stand on

Should we be teaching Delap how to buy penalties like Vardy?

I'd be looking at your soon to be £400 million defence wondering why none of them can actually defend the penalty area rather than Vary.

Since the injuries Mendy has not been the player he was. Doesn't defend or attack with any conviction at all. Needs a fresh start back in France. Garcia is too inexperienced, I don't think he knows where the opposition players are most of the time. He didn't set out to foul for the penalty, he just doesn't have the awareness of what is going on around him and didn't see the player coming. Not good enough yet at this level.

You have not made good summer signings, you really needed too to compete with pool again. I mean ake? no proper silva replacement.

As grated said I thought Ake was decent yesterday, I see him as a good buy.

Ake was the only player to have a decent game yesterday

The game may have been over by the time Maddison did his amateurish dive, whereby a touch on the upper body resulted in his left foot getting stuck behind his right leg, with accompanying bunny hop
This gave Pep his worst defeat of his career so hopefully he will apologise

Just thinking maybe fatigue has a lot to do with yesterday's result. United, Wolves and City have all had poor performance lately and all 3 teams were in Europe in mid August. Also, Bayern lost 4-1 yesterday as well.

Of course, we can’t play every 3 days with 8/9 players missing

All three penalties were nailed on

No complaints from me

No complaints about the penalties, other than about the defenders who allowed attackers to get goal side. Doesn't mean attackers should be diving to exaggerate the contact. The first and third penalties should have been given without the diving that was involved.

Let’s be honest, neither Aguero or Jesus would have down under those 3 challenges
