City have had 40 last 5 years n utd 36 lesta 39 n palace 36
Trouble with some spurs fans always bleeding moaning about officials it’s getting tedious now 👍

The fact that Bin Dippers are all over this thread suggests they realize how favourably they are treated, but don`t like to admit it.

The league is going to be full of penalty merchants. There should be a race for the Golden Penalty Spot.

Its not as bad as he’d have u believe is it especially since we’ve been the better team under klopp.

Read the post again. It's not about Spurs. It is not about historic penalties, it is about relating THIS year's rules to what is happening on the pitch THIS season. Penalties, as a % of total goals scored has gone from 7% last season to around 20% this season. Is that what everyone wants ?
Do you want to watch your team each week, with your main worry being, are they gonna get done by a stupid penalty decision. Because that's where we are now.
Do you want kids growing up, discovering their love of the game, and at the same time assuming that teams will deliberately kick or head balls at defenders is "normal" ?
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!?!?!
I've actually said this before; I think future generations will just get used to it.
It's us old farts who will remember the good old days, before the game was facked up with these law changes.
Hockey has a rule where if you touch the ball with your foot it's a free hit - no intent needed.
Problem is in football that the advantage of a penalty kick is massive.

Hey, I do get that. I do get that every week it will be someone else's set of fans moaning. It just happens to be Spurs turn this week.
But when you get every Manager and respected pundit saying "this is an absolute joke" should tell everyone this particular law needs to be changed for the good of the game.
You will see really bad decisions every week, you will see cups won or lost because of this, you will have teams relegated because of this and , for me, most worrying, you will now see clubs getting smart and setting teams or tactics up to deliberately exploit this rule. If that has not already started.
