We need to go stronger in the Europa than the league cup simply because it's far more important. Anyone who watched our first two qualifiers knows that a second string side is not guaranteed to win

That`s the problem with my team, it is a bit of a mish mash, and no natural goalscorer, because we only have Kane fit, and he definitely will not be starting. He will be needed for Thursday.

Talk about getting your excuses in early.
If Spurs do throw the match then they should have the book thrown at them. FFS, there are 2 days between matches, plenty of time if your first team get the job done early enough and Kane et al can be subbed off.

Obviously he won`t throw it Ace, but feck me how are Spurs to seriously play two Prem games, a Carabou Cup match, and a Europa League game all from one Sunday to the next Sunday, that is four games in eight days. Ridiculous, even by olden standards of playing lots of matches over a short period of time.
Spurs could go strong against Chelsea and lose, then weaker against Maccabi and lose. Could go out of two cup competitions in three days. I would sooner try to win at least one of those games with a strong side, and Thursdays looks by far the easiest.
