Been a very poor signing. At least gervinho always beat 2 or 3 people

Emery never wanted Pepe.

Yes - provided that we expect a negative fee for Pepe...

Sadly unlike our previous dross we cannot ship Pepe out to Everton - Ancelotti is a good Manager.

I told GT that you should’ve gone For him over Pepe after the AFCON.

Pepe offer no runs, link up play, assists or goals

Townsend is better than Pepe. Why would they swap Zaha for him

Stop it

Sanllehi made a fortune from the Pepe signing. Should be jailed for fraud. I’m sure no one scouted Pepe otherwise you would see that he is not Prem standard.

His corners were a joke.

Pepe poor corners and little impact yes, but the whole team was just too disjointed today. Some players shd have been subbed at halftime. Only David Luiz had a decent game for us today.

How can a pro footballer not get the ball past the first man from a corner? Beggars belief.

If we had really pushed for Zaha last summer we wd have got him. We were just too impatient.

I think he can still be a good player for us, but there is also worrying signs that he might be someone who just won’t do well in the league. Im still giving him bit more time to judge, his first season was full of upheaval changing managers and a pandemic so he deserves bit more patience as it’s still very early this season

But If there’s no improvement from him this season we should try cut our losses and get what we can for him

Pepe is a victim of too much tolerance from Arteta. Manager needs to force the player to start using his right or move him to the left side of the pitch. Refusing to use his right at all, totally negates the attacking benefit of a predominant left footer on the right. Only gets you an advantage when the defender doesn't know you won't use your right foot.

His right isn't as good as his left but he CAN use it. And I very much suspect that moving him left meaning he'd almost always have to use his right foot if he wanted to shoot. Would see him start to pretty feckin quick smart. Like the majority of today's WF's, his top priority is scoring goals for himself, providing them for his strikers comes second. So you want more right foot, move him left and we'll get it.
