I work in the pharma industry. My role involves taking products from development to full scale manufacture and providing evidence that the processes are consistent and safe.

I can tell you that pretty much every pharma and vaccine is made for profit. However, if you think any are not being tested, then you are showing a complete ignorance to the actual industry. It is probably the most highly regulated industry there is and without tonnes of data; no product gets approved for market and no manufacturing site gets approved to release it.

In order to supply a country though, you need approval from their regulatory body. The MHRA (the UK), the EU and the FDA (the US) are amongst the most stringent.

Also regulators worry about their reputation. A nation isn't going to approve a medicine or vaccine without any data. If that product goes on to cause adverse effects, it will lead to other regulators not trusting that source and negatively affects the industry within a nation.

How many drug products do you think are being developed in Africa? They mostly import drug products or manufacture already established products. In order to export these outside of the continent, they would have to meet the regulations elsewhere.

But to answer your question another way; I have been audited by regulators from Egypt and South Africa. They all audit to the standards as per the ICH guidelines. The company I work for has several manufacturing sites in Africa and Asia. They have to abide by the same standards as we do.

So in your opinion is it possible, that even in a small majority of cases, a vaccine could have negative effect to people taking it?

But it can happen to individuals, yes?

There is obviously a chance that anyone could have an adverse reaction to anything. A bit like a person could suddenly have an adverse reaction to any food.

The likelihood of a drug going onto market nowadays with widespread adverse reactions is incredibly low. People like you, with your unsupported assertions are more dangerous than anything.
