Reports of a £13.6 million obligation too buy, if so that is outstanding business, Pereira is very sub par.

posted on 29/9/20

You could make a case for keeping all 3 of those ahead of others.

He was an academy player who had a very good loan at Valencia and showed potential. We did the right thing by giving him a couple of seasons to try and make and likewise doing the right thing now by drawing a line under it and shifting him out. He still contributed to the transition period. So, yes you are right, but we can't begrudge it too much.

I'd keep him over Lingard and Mata

Dalot over TFM
Smalling over Lindelof, Jones, Rojo, Bailly

posted on 29/9/20

He is awful.

He literally spends all game hiding and barely doing anything.

posted on 29/9/20

I think moving on the top three and one of Rojo or Jones would be a success.

Mata should stay imo - if nothing else, for his character and effect on younger players.

Lingard won't leave, I don't think.

Were not getting rid of Jones or lingard, not with the money they are on unfortunately,

Mata still has a part to play in the games against bus parkers and some cup games. His brain is still very sharp and he's never had any pace, so his game will remain unchanged for the next few years.

Dalot is a strange one, I think he's shown enough and still only 21... but just not fancied by Ole. If he can be used in the Telles deal, that would make a lot of sense.

That is some serious deadwood at the bottom you guys have got to shift.

We are in the same situation to be fair.

Teams should get be getting more desperate for signings now though so should be able to get decent fees for them in this last week.

Fulham need some serious help with their back four and I think Phil Jones is the man to give them that help.

Come on Scotty, do the deal. You know you want to.

Jones will go to Burnley when they sell Tarkowski

We can give Fulham a brand new back 4 in deadwood.

Jones isn’t going anywhere, first and foremost, because he’s currently injured

This has often been the time in the window when player movement out of the club happens. Why does it always surprise people?

posted on 29/9/20

absolutely no point keeping them around. Players that train will cost you maintenance money for kit cleaings, meals, transport and medical examinations all in addition to salary. Even if you loan them out to fulham and end up paying 3/4 of the salary at least you still get aportion off the books as well as saving the maintenance. Just go to Newcastle and FUlham and say here are are Jones and Rojo, flip a coin to see who get which.

I’m not sure if this is tongue-in-cheek, but I’m not sure that any of meals, kit changes and transport are much of a consideration when these people are being paid upwards of £50k per week...

Imagine Jones not being given a squad place. He really shouldn’t be either.

Ed and Judge really need to be held accountable for that howler.

I could see the logic in giving him a 2nd contact. There was still hope he could come good at that stage. Giving him a 3rd was inexcusable.

Need to get him match-fit for his testimonial.
