difference is that sancho is already a 20 a season winger.
---------------------------------------------------------------
He's great and I want us to buy him.
I was also excited, to a lesser degree, about Kagawa and Mkhitaryan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Instead of Evil Kagawa perhaps we could have a Surly Sancho account if he joined?

If we're going for a short-term fling with a centre forward on the rebound rather than a right winger, I for one prefer the Luka Jovic on loan rumour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know anything about him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you never seen him play.
I have and have mixed feelings about him:
- could be a game changer if he joins
- bullet dodged if he doesn't

Those were two talented players who were never used correctly by Saf and Jose. Sancho would be plonked in the right side of our attack as perfect as can be.
Kagawa did not particularly get a fair shake.
Chong has started his German loan spell well by all accounts
Is he another sancho in the making ?

I think the idea is eventually to have GW central and sancho on the wing.
Sancho is currently the better player yes. And as for the cost, irrelveent, were not going to sell a player like him where as dortmund more than likely will eventually let JS go. As for greenwoods value, if we were to sell, given age, ability and potential I think we'd be looking at a similar number should we for whatever reason wish to sell.
Same with Foden at city.

Stretmeister 👍
Another string in Sancho’s bow is that he’s just as adept at playing on the left so in a scenario where we need to bamboozle the defence with players not stuck in rigid positions he’d be great. The other day I watched Bayern smash Schalke and Sane and Gnabry swapped wings at times and Schalke had zero answers.
Sane played insanely well that game. A real coup for Bayern and a loss to the PL.
Got absolutely hammered the other day though. think fatigue is gonna play a major part for the top teams who were still Europe in august this season.
I agree.
MG is easily worth as much as Sancho is.
Which is no where near £108 m.

Tbf they rested Lewa and seem to be missing Thiago. Think they need a player or two still.
One thing that does gnaw at my mind though is the element of groupthink that he's the ONE player we can't possibly let slip.
------------------------------------------------
I think besides how good a player some people think he is and I am one of those because I've seen a lot of him since he moved to Dortmund, seen enough of him at youth level in England as well, it's also partly down to the fact that there aren't many other really good options around at the moment.
The drop off in level between Sancho and all the other options who could be available is I think fairly significant.
There were some really good options available at very reasonable prices in recent windows but we chose to recruit Dan James instead and we're regretting it now.
