That's quite a high price per game for TV coverage. Will cause a lot of people just to find a stream instead.

Austin Samuels scored for Wolves at Bradford in the EFL Trophy last week and the opposition were so impressed they’ve taken him on a season long loan

Daft. They'd probably make more money if they made it a fiver a game. Wonder if there'll be a multi game deal.

Be interesting to know how that £14.95 gets carved up. How much to the tv company, how much to the clubs in the match concerned, and how much in the Premier League pot for sharing across the league. And any chance there’s a few bob in there to help the lower league clubs

Will Coady keep his place tonight? Will he be England captain? Will Dendoncker be in opposition? And after that game finishes tonight Portugal play away in France. Great to see Traore's terrifying the Swiss defence last night.

Been disinterested in international football for years but suddenly it feels worth watching again

You would have thought that now would be a good time for clubs to trial season passes in this country; where you can watch all games over streams. I would happily pay an annual subscription to get guaranteed good streams of all Wolves games, whilst still going to whatever games I can.

I imagine some season ticket holders would consider paying it, to get streams of away games they can't get tickets for too. It would bring in more revenue to the club surely. Particularly when we sell out most games and have waiting lists for season tickets.

Man Utd and Liverpool have put forward proposals for radical changes to the Premier League. This would include reducing the number from 20 to 18. Other details soon to be publicised

Of course they have. Less teams for them to share revenue with, whilst they know they won't be impacted by the reduction of teams.

Greedy s*ds.

Always felt the premier league should be 18 clubs personally.

Additional proposals include shelving the Community Shield and League Cup. And more games in Europe with the Champions League in 2024.

And in a proposal that would affect Wolves, they are looking to end the one club one vote system and give extra power to the 9 clubs that have been in the Premier League the longest

May as well change to the franchise system in the US and close the shop. That's what the big clubs really want.

Just the next step along the way to a euro super league. Reducing domestic games to make room for European ones

posted on 11/10/20

Chinese owned clubs will NEVER be allowed at the top table. The USA runs English football by proxy of Man United and Liverpool.

There will be no European super league - they are planning on going straight to a world league. The TV revenue from South American countries would outstrip the rest of the world combined.

SKY 6
Bayern (plus one other)
Three from Spain
Two from Italy
PSG
Two from USA
One from Canada
Four from South America
Nothing from Scotland.

No promotion or relegation. Closed shop. The rest of the UK game would go amateur, Fosun would have nothing to sell because their investment will be worthless.

Villa, because of their owners, might just be invited ahead of Spurs or Arsenal.

Pretty cynical of United and Liverpool to use the current situation to get the cash starved EFL clubs on board with a £250m sweetener. They can see ambitious clubs like Leicester and Wolves trying to elbow their way in to their cosy club and are trying to pull up the draw bridge.

Will get nasty this, the PL won't have a product if the "big 6" pull away, that threat will be their bargaining chip/ blackmail.

125th cap for Moutinho tonight and a clean sheet for Rui. Impressive performance from Semedo too. And a nice rest for Neves.

Yes there were some good moments from Semedo tonight both in attack and defence. He is going to be a quality signing

simply expel liverpool and united from the premier league.
let let them sell tv rights for a league of two.

I read this morning that Rick Parry has said to them that if they resign from the PL he'll welcome them back to the EFL. I dont think that's the direction of travel they have in mind Rick.
