Really happy with this. When I saw his insta post in a Villarreal shirt I was afraid we’d sold him. I think he has the potential to be a very good defender who’s also good on the ball, so I’m glad we’ve recognised this by giving him a new contract but letting him get experience in another top European league. Surprised he signed a new contract.
Needs to play games and I believe he is going to be a good player one day so Im glad we keeping him.

He’s the ideal player for a back three

He has shown sign of potential when he has played but i think a loan is a smart idea from us.
He can get some game time and hopefully comeback more matured next season.
