Matip is back while Ox is no big loss

I’m sorry but seeing all those Adrian mistakes, he is just not good enough. The game against Atletico really was the last straw for me anyway.

Nice lad, not reliable enough. I’ll be gladly proved wrong over the next 6 weeks though.

____________
At Villa, all midfield players were poor so Klopp had no one but Minamino. Ox would have come in if he was fit. So he could be useful

He should have put Milner on first. Minamino was lost in midfield.

You gotta worry about the league when this inevitably happens.

At what point is it not safe for teams to play Liverpool when there has been a clear outbreak in the city / Liverpool squad?

Gonna be interesting to see what happens if a squad gets 8-10 infections simultaneously. Would teams forfeit games?

That might happen. The season has already been hugely condensed so I'm not sure they will have the room to postpone many fixtures.

With the way the second wave of C is spreading, anything, including forfeit or suspension of games again is possible.

We’ve got three first squad and team players gone down with it, the only positive news is that none have been hospitalised, far less coma-induced. So far.

Sunday’s debacle, we’ve got to take it on the chin. Yes, Adrian had a nightmare, everything Villa touched turned into goals, three deflections in one game, but as a team, the Reds were abysmal, no other word for it. TAA was targeted ,successfully, time and again, but he was not the only one at fault.

Where do we go from here? Re-group, get together, get the cohesion back, and come out on fire against Everton. If the team comes out losers - again - but have given their all, as a team, then there’s no complaints from me.

Villa were prepared for that game on Sunday, we weren’t. Well done them, credit fully deserved.

Over to you Herr Klopp. Time to earn your corn.

I had a stat on the Blood Red podcast that in the last 21 games in which he has played, Adrian has made 5 mistakes leading directly to a goal.

He's basically guaranteed to give the opposition a goal every 4 games.

On the bright side his next gaff is due against FC Midtjylland at Anfield; a game we should be winning even if he gifts them a couple of goals.

Now is a good time for Thiago to pass it on to Alisson and Ox. Get the virus out of the way lads.

This COVID-19 doesn’t stop when you get better - let’s hope none of them suffer from ‘long’ Covid which can really keep you under par long term!
