"Although I am of course frustrated that I was not able to full showcase what I am capable of at West Ham, I remain convinced I can still contribute at the very top of the game."

this is the quote so if he wants to play at the "very top of the game" he won't be coming to Scotland which is sadly a tier or two below
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Europa League has got to be a temptation surely?

Plus he’ll only get to play at the top level if a top level club offers him a deal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can he be registered?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Squads for Europe have to be submitted today.

His injury record is certainly awful.

He was always one of those close control dribble type of players who drew crunching tackles.

And then was surprised when his ankles were fooked for two months after.

If it’s a low basic with a pay as you play element it might not be a bad deal.

He certainly is a player when fit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will fit right in up here then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly.

Dicker and Power for Killie on that astro pitch will be season ender right there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see Carlton Cole’s been gettin his excuses in for why he was such a nonentity up here by blaming plastic pitches
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just checked his record and don’t see him having played on a single plastic pitch in his time with us!

I think he’s saying he didn’t play on them cos his knees were f@cked.

He’s also warning Wilshere he won’t like it cos it’s too cold up here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, if you look at the matches the only one he missed was Hamilton away and seeing he wasn’t in the squad for a string of matches on grass either side of that then he is talking BS. Killie away he had ‘special leave’, not that he was getting a game.

Cant stole a wage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing like a wee bit of revisionism
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s worse - the cant is overlooking that he moved to the USL afterwards playing on Astro virtually every week!

Fook it, hope it happens. Been a fan ever since that Emirates cup debut.

Wilshire.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He smashed us at Ibrox

Even if he's still half the player
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't remember us playing Arsenal since the Emirates tbh

Reckon if he comes, and he's fit, he'd be a cracking signing. Big if regarding fitness.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was pre season. His debut possibly

I was convinced that was the Emirates cup when we played PSG and Arsenal on the Saturday/Sunday. He was 16 at the time of that and gave us the runaround.

Now Christie has it.

posted on 7/10/20

Don't think Christie has it, Armstrong does and Christir n Tierney have been in close contact with him so need to isolate 14 days.

So Scotland if we have to forfeit the game

Steve Clarke was a close contact surely. Isolate him and we have a chance.

RW
FW Dykes / Shankland / McBurnie / Paterson

That's our options. Dire.

Snodgrass out of retirement call up? Griffiths maybe though that's the only position we have enough bodies.

Benefit to us having nae players in the Scotland squad real opportunity to get a good win over Celtic if they're down some key players. If we want to win the league we'll need to be at least 15 points clear of Celtic by the end of the year so we can ride out our annual winter collapse.

Aye Wilshire was phenomenal that day. Took my grandson to his first football match, his da and my wife bowled up as well.

The Bears took over the Drayton Arms before and after the games. Me and the boy met my nephew and boys off his supporters bus. Granny was on babysitting duties.

Cracking days out at a brilliant stadium.

I should have said my boy is a goner so he was happy <cvnt>.
