Been best player this season for me so far
Really good post and spot on with the observations. To think this guy was seen as surplus, from memory pretty much after one error in a Cardiff game?!?!?!
He's a phenomenal player to have in our team. Bought for an undisclosed fee - wonder what his market value is these days?!?!?!?
quality, for me 1st name on the team sheet every week
Yes it was one mistake at Cardiff, a few days after being the best player on the pitch away at PL Burnley in the cup
Very strange decision by TC
Hasn't missed a league game in well over two years.
Phenomenal, just phenomenal.
Great post, Philips gets the plaudits but Klich has been better, makes everything tick.

shhhhhhhhh don't tell everyone let it be our secrect
Makes everything Klich !
He puts so much effort on the pitch its unbelievable that he has played so many games over the last 2 seasons. Wonderful team player.
And to think he cost £1.5 million, what an absolute bargain. Top top player.
I’ll join the love in.
Been really good in all 4 games... never a doubt about the work rate, Question mark was whether the talent would be enough at this level. If anything he looks better.
Telling for me over the last few years is that we seldom seem to have the same control of a game when he comes off. May be coincidental and more down to fatigue in the team etc, but something I’ve observed- similar with paddy.
It’s not just work rate when the opposition have the ball, but his energy in both making himself available and dragging defenders out of position creates space for others.
I don’t see how we adequately replace him if crocked in the current squad. Luckily it hasn’t happened. But with Foreshaw crocked again genuine midfield cover is where we look light.
Fantastic player
Developed 10 fold under Bielsa, very suited to the premier league... how much would a player like him be worth in the transfer market?
What did we sign him for?
Amazing
Agreed
Shame hes 30 and not 22
Agree with everything that's been said so far.
One of my favourite players. Crucial part of the team.
And we don't have a like for like back-up anywhere
near his quality (which is a worry if he's injured).
Him, Rodrigo, Bamford together. Damn.

i feel the same but i don't think we're a soft touch for anyone. if one of the big boys did come for our player we would fleece them or send them packing.
Also, his goal against Liverpool was amazing
Eddiethelastwaltz said exactly the same to me this morning,
He has been brilliant so far this season
He has a great attitude and also barely misses a game
That said that first season Under Bielsa he was brilliant and after Christmas tailed off. He was decent last season but has started this season almost in the same form as he did originally
Be interesting to see if he drops off or maintains a similar level
A friend, a Spurs supporter, was talking about how impressed he had been with our start to the season, he specifically mentioned Matty Klich. His contribution hasn't gone unnoticed.

packing !!
He's a Bielsa era staple. He was the new cog added to the team that steamrollered Stoke and Derby in Bielsa's first season. When someone mentions the Bielsa era in years to come, Klich will probably be the first thing that also springs to mind.
I wonder if TC tried to blast him after that Cardiff game, and he gave TC what for, commenting on his dire inability. He was so close to never being seen at ER again.
Really wish Samu had been up for the Bielsa era. He could have become seen as world class, but he chose to be mediocre
Saiz would have world class under MB. Attitude and lifestyle got in the way. Shame
Totally agree ref saiz Shaun
Siaz
Couldn’t shoot
Couldn’t head
Wouldn’t tackle
Wouldn’t track back
Poor decision making
Not a team player
Card waver
Diver
Soft
World class w4anker more like
Saiz flattered to deceive
I remember someone saying at the time there is a reason why he kept going from club to club
I don’t even know if he had a bad attitude...Yes he dived and spat but can’t remember anything really bad off the field
He just wasn’t quite good enough and in the end even struggled to be an impact sub
Definitely bad quality if he wanted to do it
