Nevertheless, this is absolutely devastating for the people and the city. I mean why can’t measures be put in place for pubs the same as restaurants?

It’s already collapsing, hundreds of thousands have lost their jobs/livelihoods

If thousands upon thousands of selfish people had actually treated this pandemic seriously instead of going around like nothings happening then we probably wouldn't be heading into more lockdowns again.

Then again the Government have been so poor and leaderless it's no wonder the public aren't taking anything seriously anymore.

It seems like the spike in infections up north are mostly because of schools and universities opening again, these measures won’t close the education sectors again so I don’t know how they’ll reduce the rates.

In fact, 95% of the regions already under some form of lockdown have still seen a huge spike in infections.

And on top of that, the Tories are of the belief people on minimum wage up there can afford to live on roughly £5.60 an hour with their crappy support package in place. And they don’t have anything to help self employed people either.

We have only just entered tier 3 re-opening in CT last week.

Seems like u guys opened up to much to soon.

I don't think a lot of people even know what the current rules are. They've had enough, don't have any faith in the government and I think a lot are suspicious about whether we are getting the full truth.

Government is loosing the plot. Focusing on the wrong things. They could have pumped money in the NHS the last few months and expanding capacity and then just opened up. The whole point of lockdown is to stop the system being overwhelmed, not to actually stop the virus (which is never going to happen). Increase the capacity of the system!

The thing is a lot of us said these idiots couldn’t organise a pisss up in a brewery let alone handle a global pandemic, yet 13m idiots went ahead and voted for them last year.

It's sad for them that they'll never see the trophy for 2019/20* being lifted.
