FFS When are they going to realise international football is a seriously bad idea during this pandemic?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not ever club or nation is catching it, Eduard had it after playing on Sunday and being tested on the Monday , the Scotland players haven’t left the country and 3 Celtic players inc ex players played a PlayStation in Armstrong’s bedroom who already had it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pathetic point scoring. You do realise they were all SFA tested on arrival last Monday and Armstrong was negative along with everyone else hence the belief the playtstation session was fine?
Then the UEFA test on Tuesday he was positive. Which test to believe, eh? Same for Edouard - fine leaving camp, not fine after arriving. Which to believe?
In the game good luck helps. Mostly on the pitch but now more and more off it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah don't mate
He's been absent for long periods and clearly looks in on a constant basis for any chance to point the finger at Celtic especially if he thinks it gives his side the chance to beat us.
Only downside is when they do he'll be all over it only to disappear once again when it returns to normality.

I didn’t know we had to decide who we believe for Covid tests , is that what we are down to now, is it a competition to see who gets believed the most
Tell us if you believe the test data from many countries or if you acknowledge that the testing authorities themselves state quite clearly that mistakes are made and there are thousands of false negatives and positives given out.
And that's before the timing element of a test which is most crucial.

Yes, a very real issue. As Arsenal will tell you we are constraining businesses and people's right to work even after a succession of negative tests. Hence the appeal to government. Tests that the same government mandate as the key determinant of that employment to continue. So, yes, it is a mess. But you know that.

Fookin Yes Minister stuff.
I would suggest if edd was tested by the sfa before he left and it's negative then would be pretty confident that was the case. False positives are by far a bigger problem for them. A follow up PCR lab test should always be done after any positive screening test for that reason.
False negatives are far rarer.

961 new Covid-19 cases reported today in Scotland, representing 17% of those tested.
A further 38 folk admitted to hospital.
A hint of the new case numbers flattening off in recent days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Listening to real statistical experts now stating quite clearly yet again that the data being used is fundamentally flawed with them believing we are at 10% of the rates back in April when we weren’t even testing.
Science eh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup testing capacity is something else that’s been put in place since last time.
Track and trace.
Measures in public places.
A lot has been done. That it is still not enough to stop a second wave.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because you are still dependant on people using common sense and adhering to the guidance. In the background, preparations should still have been made, in case of it happening again. That was the excuse first time round, it`s unprecedented. Well, what`s the excuse for 2nd time? Testing and Track and Trace are all well and good, but it doesn`t force people to behave, therefore there have to be contingency plans. There don`t seem to be any, just repeating what they did before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know - said that! What do we do about bams? Answers on a postcard!
It would probably help if someone stood up and was more blunt about how much taxation will increase. Fck it - put it on alcohol, I don’t care. Might the language that the bams will understand but it’s doubtful because they just won’t believe it or will deal with it later.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Might cause a run on copper kettles.
£2tr debt.
£46bn in annual alcohol sales.
Equals +100% further alcohol tax for the next c. 30 years assuming the tax reduces consumption somewhat though that might be offset some by reduced NHS burden from alcohol abuse?
I'd be OK with it.

FFS, mad Joe is not taking this well.
The letter read: "My plan for today was to write once again to SFA Chief Executive Ian Maxwell, but since Mr Maxwell doesn’t answer my emails I won’t waste my time. People like Maxwell and Rod Petrie think they are above the everyday football supporter, that’s always been the case in my time, they think the ordinary everyday football supporter is here to provide them with a comfy chair, both at Hampden Park, and while flying all over the world, and all the trappings of grandeur they think goes with their positions within Scottish Football.
"I would like to ask Mr Maxwell why he has sat back and let FIFA/UEFA dictate to professional clubs that they need to let their players fly all around the world during a pandemic which has killed over one million people so far. Obviously the most successful clubs provide the most of these players, and therefore are most at risk, and that club in Scotland is undoubtedly Glasgow Celtic FC. We have now lost the services of at least three first pick players for Sunday’s Glasgow Derby, and we still have Wednesday night’s games to contend with.
"The players involved health comes first, that goes without saying, and that should always be the case. So why should we increase the chances of them catching the virus by letting them meet up with teammates from all over the world? Celtic have stated quite clearly that they have tested our players over 2,000 times without having one positive case, so when our players leave the relative safety of Lennoxtown, we end up with a massive problem, and none of it our own doing.
"The SFA/SPFL have lost the confidence of Scottish Football Supporters, that’s if they ever had the confidence. You Mr Maxwell, and your colleagues have sat back in your comfy seat and did absolutely nothing to aid the clubs in Scotland, well maybe with the exception of one club, the newest one in the SPL. The silence coming out of Hampden is deafening, there were teams playing all over Europe last night with supporters in attendance, have you put any pressure on the Scottish Government to have fans inside stadiums in Scotland?"
Mr O'Rourke also took a pop at the SFA for confirming referee John Beaton would take charge of this weekend's derby at Parkhead. Beaton was at the centre of controversy recently after his last game in charge between the two sides where Alfredo Morelos dodged three potential red card offences.
Beaton’s private details were also leaked online and he called cops after receiving threats.
But Mr O'Rourke said: "I’ll make one last point Mr Maxwell, and it’s got nothing to do with the pandemic, although it seems like a virus. In this historic season when Glasgow Celtic are attempting to write even more history by winning Ten in a Row, it seems that every attempt will be taken by the SFA/SPFL to stop us doing that.
"The appointment of John Beaton as referee is a complete slap in the face to Celtic and our supporters. Beaton does not even try to hide where his allegiances lie. The last time he officiated at a Glasgow Derby, he had a shameful display of bias against one team, and after that match, he received the full backing of the SFA."
