Is PS4 Boring Now?

Nope.

There at the start playing pong on my Binatone in the 70s and 50 now and still enjoying it. I think I appreciate it even more because I've been around long enough to see the evolution of it all.

TLOU2, RDR2 and GTAV are just astonishing when I think back to Blitz or Arcadia on the Vic20, text-based adventure games and having to go to an arcade to get your gaming fix. It's one of the few things about modern life that's better.

You mean Detroit become human?

Yes. Great graphics, story driven gameplay.

I've played the other two games.. can't remember what they're called.
One of them has a girl in it with powers and the others a father and daughter story.
Heavy rain and beyond two souls! Just remembered..
I've got Detroit as it was free one month on PS4, haven't played yet..

Leisure suit Larry and space quest anyone ?

Fahrenheit in response to the above.

I would say the three games that have really blown me away on PS4 are:

Red Dead Redemption 2 - didn't expect to absolutely love this game as much as I did, a masterpiece and one of those games I wish I could replay for the first time. Every little detail is so well detailed it took me a solid 2 months to complete.

Batman: Arkham Knight - Everything about it is superb and recently I've been getting the itch to replay it after 3 years since my first go. Asylum and City are both great games but for me this took it to new levels. The DLC and the challenges, I couldn't get enough.

Persona 5 - Never actually finished this as it is a very long game but I've never played an RPG like it. A slow burner for sure but everything about it is brilliant. If you haven't played this then you're missing out on a unique and beautifully crafted experience.

Special mentions - Esther Finch, RE7, RE2, RE3, Horizon, Firewatch, Little Nightmares, Tomb Raider, Detroit, Spider-Man

Bjggest disappointment - Death Standing....what an absolute turrd of a game. When people say video games are a waste of time the memories of this make me want to agree with them. 30 hours of my life trying to make myself enjoy something when in reality I'd rather have been sodomised. Kojima has lost his MGS magic.

Loved firewatch, what a great game that was. Forgot about that.
Arkham Knight was fun however the boss fights were weak in comparison to the previous games. Too much bat mobile not enough batman fighting in boss fights.
Still good game though.

Love red dead 1 on Xbox 360.
Is rdd2 worth a go? I've heard many mixed reviews

Its okay imo, not a poor game but due to the amount you have to do and can do it becomes a choor rather than fun. Amazing graphics.

RDR2 is my favourite PS4 game. I want to play it again, but just can't be bothered to get past the snow levels at the beginning.

Detroit takes it up a notch, not only graphically, your decisions also have a far bigger impact on the story.

Has anyone played Ghost of Tsushima? It looks like Red Dead 2 meets Tenchu Stealth Assassins if anyone remembers that on PS1 & 2.

Yeah I have Ghost of Tsushima. Graphically very impressive, there is a multiplayer arriving tomorrow and will also will get a boost to 60fps on PS5.

Sucker Punch are really giving gamers their moneys worth, with this game.
