Nots sure I've ever seen anything like this before, but credit to Orta for letting people know how important he has felt Douglas has been.
I enjoyed reading that and clearly Douglas was an inspiration in the changing room. I shall adopt Blackburn as mty championship club to follow now and hope they get promoted.

Always been a fan of Douglas. Really wished it
would've panned out for him with us. Sadly,
he moves on. But, what a bloke. What a pro.
Wish him nothing but the absolute best. And Orta,
well he keeps going up in my mind.
This is great not only the appreciation but what it tells us about how the club is being run internally.
Forgot it was deadline day, Barry Douglas unfortunately never really reached his full potential with us. Hope it works out for him at Blackburn

Agree with you there mate, I'll be willing Blackburn on. Always liked them as a club anyway.
Good luck to him, and who knows, a full season playing at Blackburn may rejuvenate his career and Leeds then offer him a new contract before his current one finishes next year after his loan ends.
