yeah, as did everyone else. A lot of people laughed he got motm
I have to say that it was an absolutely shocker that thiago got gifted it.
Lets be clear he was struggling to make an impact due to the pace of the game, got caught on the ball a few times and failed to put his foot in as well.
he did alight on the ball but it wasn't really a MOTM performance.
when the game opened up a bit he got more on it so he stuck with it and showed determination and that.
dae i say it but if he'd played v villa he'd have been as over run as keita
seriously guys he's great on the ball but he's got to be given the time and then has to be showing he can cope with the speed of game.
Class player. I feared he would take you to an even higher level. He may still do of course.
Didn't know Thiago and Keita play the same role.
Thought he was very good, slips the ball through very well which is what we missed!

His spreading of the ball from one side to the other side is what got us going in the first half. He was the reason we dominated the midfield as he controlled our play from deep in the second half with his passing to players between the lines or in the half spaces.
Not playing the high line has also helped as we have dropped a few yards now.
And now it seems as though he’s injured 😡

Everton couldn't get near him apart that horrific tackle. Pathetic team.
