I hope Ancelotti has a stern word with Pickford.

I don't like seeing such a dangerous tackle on a player, no matter who that player plays for. Players have short careers as it is and that tackle could have ended Van Dyke's one.
Van Dyke is lucky it isn't and so is Pickford. He would have had to deal with ending a fellow pro's career for the rest of his.

said its not intentional kind of challenge but its reckless u just cant do that. its unfair n dangerous, intention or not, offside or not, after the whistle or not its a red card.

wasnt even looked at by VAR if it was thats even worse.

So as i said i expect an apology from them for that, but we won't get anything more from it. Even if they ban Pickford as i said, probably benefits Everton, the team who dropped 2 points potentially because of it get nothing.

and lose a key play for probably the season if its ACL as suspected.

I think he should have gone, it was a red for me.

However, nothing to do with LFC, but there have been quite a few Pool supporters who think VAR is great. Take a bow Toor.
I know he says it makes the game fairer blah blah, the fact is it can stop play for three minutes and come out with the wrong decision. The same wrong decision give, by the ref immediately.

VAR is good m8, just because our officials are still useless with it doesnt mean it hasnt made the overall decision making more correct and fairer.

David Coote should have instructed Oliver to go to the screen for the pickford challenge. as for the offside i think he needs to go to specsavers. Robbo n Trent were right after the burnley performance from him he doesnt see anything.

Liverpool are actually doing something that could benefit everyone by forcing the authorities to address the VAR issues and utter feckwits like Morespuunk are whining about it. Stupid is as stupid does.

Looked accidental.

Is unfortunate but no further action is warranted.

This is the one thing that pisses me off no end!

FFS, there is a touchline monitor and as a ref, you have the duty to check the incident and not just leave it to VAR. Refs are passing the bucks on imo.

That incident of Robertson on Allan should have been at least a yellow card, had the ref used the monitor.
But he just stood there and referred it to VAR??

FFS, refs must be told to always check the touchline monitor first and then they can refer to VAR, but only after reviweing it on the touch line monitor!

He can't. The ref already blew for offside. Sending Oliver to the screen would mean reversing his initial decision, a potential red card and penalty. You won't want that given against your team would you?

Get Pickford banned?

As punishment he should be allowed to carry on playing.

This is hilarious. Benefitted from so many, the one time it doesn't go in their favour and they cry like little children to the PL

Come on. Ffs

Are there no depths this sorry excuse of a football club will not sink to.

Did they contact the PL when Mane was let off a red card for a deliberate elbow the other week, or when Jota was allowed to score a goal after handling the ball etc etc etc.

They are grade A mugs and the saltiest of clubs all round, every other week they are helped out by `favourable refereeing` and dragged up the league by biased officials, and even today Everton were robbed of a penalty and a TAA red card.

Must be really hard supporting a team that plays in a toilet bowl and has to include preseason cups on their role of honour

That champs league defeat must still really be a butt hurt hey

Man Utd should contact the PL after one of our point blank shot on target saved didn't count in the Newcastle United game for wrongful offside. Hope they go down as there tactics are embarrassing every game. Just put 11 men at the back and hope they get lucky everytime.

Looking at the usual bitter, envious posters you’re referring to, including yourself, I don’t think it’s a particularly big revelation you’ve made....
