Arguably under-rated, certainly a top full back in his days at City. Tough but rarely overstepping the rules.
Yeah what DJ said. Always seemed a top professional, gave everything on the pitch, good old fashioned full back.
Decent medal haul in his career. Not winning anything with the Argies will be his only regret.
He captained the Argentine u20s when they won the world youth cup in 2005 with a unknown 17 year old Messi. Not one of the big two trophies but nice bit of trivia for you there!
Love to see him back at City one day as part of the coaching staff

Apparently won Olympic gold in 2008 too which is nothing to be sniffed at either. Pretty impressive side they had back then.

Defo one of the nice guys. I wanted Argentina to win the world Cup games just for Zab punditry which was excellent
One of my all time faves. An absolute steal from Espanyol for what? £4.8m
Every bit as important to City's success as Kompany, Toure, Silva, Aguero et al.
Absolute legend.

I agree Kash, I thought he did a great job, especially as a novice to punditry. There are some good pundits out there and they make a difference by explaining the things that we fans don't see in the same way. I would say Rio and Lampard do that pretty well, many others not so much.
Good luck to Zab, he was a vital part of the City success story.
