Excellent point ktf
I don't think it's wanting 11 players of top standard
More 4 or 5 players better than we have as reserves

But in an deal world
To have Justin, Barnes as those players

I love that we are investing in young players and I know this means we are more likely to be inconsistent as a result. It also means we are more unlikely to get experienced players to come in as squad players.

In an ideal world, we would have wanted this all happening when players like Fuchs Morgan Albrighton Vardy et al were a bit younger but it isn’t to be.

We have just lost (and I think unfairly) to a team that battered Liverpool and we sit 4th with a depleted squad and after what could have been a completely demoralising end to last season. If we get to a stage where we are fighting relegation or even sitting in mid table with our first 11 playing poorly and it being clear we have an issue with no players to come in and change the situation then, fair enough, criticism and concern is justified. But we are currently playing games without a top right back and/or too centre back and/or too defensive midfielder and /or a top unify attacking midfielder and/or one of the best strikers in the league. And we have still started the season, in the top 5.

We are Leicester City, a club everyone has said will now a just fall away after the league win, and we were so close to top 4, have started the season AGAIN in the top 4 and have some of the best players in the league and , in certain positions, in Europe. Our major gripe is that we don’t have enough top end quality in our squad to make challenging for a CL spot more comfortable.

Come on - surely, particularly with how crazy the world has been over the last 8 months, we realise that we aren’t really in that bad a position.

And if we do sell a player? So what. We have consistently shown that we have the ability to bring in new, young, fresh talent.

Chin up, we have the best owners in the world and one of the best first 11s in the best league in the world. And we are little ol’ Leicester. Yes - things could be a bit better, but they could be a hellovalot worse

Is the crisis back?

Agree with the points made above. I also don’t think anyone is expecting much more from the ownership.

A bit more from the 11 selected tonight would have been nice.

We can’t be too easy to defend against just by teams sitting deep and playing on the counter. Work for Rodgers to do.

Don’t get me wrong though, I’m royally p1ssed off, threw my shoe against the wall when they scored and will be getting drunk to an Irish level tomorrow as it’s half term and I have had a COVID test come back negative, and my better half is away until Wednesday. :D

Madds came on at 67 mins and Dubs said guess for who? 22 mins after half time.... Why does BR not see what we were watching?

Take the blame Brendon, too little too late.
