All these Arsenal fans who love Emi so much...go support Villa ffs. It's been a crazy season and there have been crazy results. Villa are playing super well and kudos to them.
But ffs...let's stop the Emi love in. People are INCREDIBLY short sighted about how many games and points Leno has saved us. How much embarrassment he saved us when we looked like we did not understand the concept of defending under Emery. I have seen people on here blaming Leno for our lack of attacking intent...saying he can't play in this system and is poor with his passing and puts the defence under pressure. It's gotten ridiculous.
I will wager that at the end of the season, both Emi and Leno will have performed at about the same level. We could not keep both and keep them happy. They both should be starting at top teams. There was a market for Emi..especially with a year left on his contract and so he was sold so he could be guaranteed 1st team football.
I wish him the best, but time to let him go!!
