We're in big trouble this season. Saturday was a complete disaster for us all round and gien we are already a game behind and having to play last years cup we will probably be 3 games behind which could mean 10 points behind in the next 6/7 weeks. Added to that the next 3 league games we do play are Aberdeen, Motherwell and Hibs, not won at Easter Rd in the league past 4 attempts. Next old firm game at Ibrox too. If Rangers can stay consistent this season we are fcked
Add to all that the fact we look hopless tactically and stumble from one game to another with a moody bunch of players I cannot muster any sort of confidence or bravado.
No fans is having a big effect on us also I feel.

We were missing christie, eduoard bitton and el hamed on sunday plus forrest.

I certainly think celtic have a bigger and more expensive squad.
However I do think now we have more than enough in our squad to beat the current celtic one to the title.
Compared to last year we are in a much better place with real options up top and pretty unbelievable competition in midfield. We should be able to afford to take the hit of 2 or 3 big players being missing and still be able to cope.
We were massively reliant on Morelos and now I go into games not expecting much from him at all. I am looking forward to Roofe getting fit because he might be the better option.
Our defence has been excellent this season and we have guys like Kent and Aribo who are a year older and really look like they have kicked on.
People talked about possibly regretting letting McCrorie and Docherty leave but if you look at the squad Mcrorie would be our 6th choice CB and Docherty would be 8th in line for a CM position.
We have moved on from those type of players.
I have always said that as long as we improved under SG I would give him a bit of time. And to be fair, whilst there have been no trophies, it is pretty clear we have improved.
Ultimately though it remains to be seen if we can keep it going long enough to take the title. I would love to see the reaction if Celtic dropped points on sunday because I am not convinced NL has the tools to navigate his way through the fall out if that happened.
Whilst i believe we will prevail over the piece in OF games we still need to be better at beating the ten men behind the ball hatchet men - that is what will determine if we win the league this season IMO.
Disagree Hot Shot. Rangers have added 2 forwards and Celtic 4 or 5 first team starters. Celtic are missing motivation for want of a few things but not players. Fot at least 2 months as well.
OP tells me we're hoping to get our money's worth. We want these games, big clubs and high profile. We need to look like we're looking forward to it, defeat with dignity is fine but a lack of direction & aggression will kill us. We're flat and out of ideas, we need a jolt.

I certainly think celtic have a bigger and more expensive squad.
However I do think now we have more than enough in our squad to beat the current celtic one to the title.
