Just cast the clubs aside (including spurs if they want to join)

Money really is everything

So is this basically the champions league but with the same teams each year just to get more money? Or would they leave their respective leagues?

you should be praying this happens, you might be able to win something then

You can see why project big picture was so important to push through for Liverpool and Manchester United.

Take 4 league fixtures off the calander add to that no league cup and a revamped closed shop European league competition could take place.

Absolute snakes, hope it never happens,if it does then I hope it fails. It will be a competition for the football tourists and I expect after time it will lose it's glamour.

Worst thing that could happen to football in my opinion.

No relegation, just the same teams playing each other week in week out.

What happens to the aspiration of clubs who are not in this select group. The cost to fans will be exponential, having to travel abroad for away fixtures and frankly I do not think it will have the attraction or glamour of the PL or even the Championship.

The only thing that drives it is TV revenue, if it did come about I would rather Spurs stayed loyal to the English game. However with a £billion stadium to pay for, money is the deciding factor for clubs.

Project Big Picture and now this. It's all like a self fulfilling prophecy. We've heard about something like this for years now. Looks like we are all either sleep walking or being forced into this kind of thing whether real fans like it or not. RIP football.

Yeah basically it’s shiiiit and would be the end of me supporting spurs probably

Suppose they'd rather play Juventus on Saturday instead of Burnley

Think I'd join you. It wouldn't be Spurs anymore. Well it would but in name only.

Yeah. Adios to them.

Championship and Premier League will go on. Will become a TV spectical supporting those clubs as fans prices out.

It’s a break away from the CL/EL not domestic competitions

Although we all know if there is more money on offer these clubs will eventually leave their domestic competitions too

No surprise its being lead by LFC and Utd and their American investor ownership.

This is the big pay off which they've always had in mind - City and CFC owners not so interested in making huge sums but obviously want to be at the top table, while Spurs and Arsenal would not want to be left behind.

No one ever asks what the fans want because foreign ownership, with no tie to the club or their fans whatsoever, do not care about fans, they care about the return on their investment.

I am glad I have seen all the great times of football.

Basically the game is finished if this happens. RIP football.

Liverpool and Man United need to go form their own league in the USA. How have we allowed our game to be hijacked by the Yanks.
