All 5 have been away from home

Our home performances even at the back end of last season against West Ham and Southampton are concerning

wouldnt read too much into that Manc, it was a long few months with a team that was pretty much unchanged during that time, its more likely fatigue was an issue there

I think it's OK to have reservations though. I even had them about SAF at times.

That is some impressive spin though I must say. I could quite easily add:

Bully PSG twice? And yet they reach the CL Final in that period.

Beat Pep X3? Still didn't finish above City and still lost the game which was a pathway for a trophy for City.

Beat Chelsea X3? Yes, and two of those vital wins to help finish in top 3. We still disappointed in the FA Cup against them though.

Outplay Klopp X2? I don't think this happened. We competed well yes but outplay? No.

win our game in hand and we are only a point behind you.. early days i know, but lets not forget... you got trounced by villa, conceded 3 against Leeds, and are looking like having your best defender out for months... id be more concerned about things at anfield

Point 1: Luck. Any team who gets lucky can reach the UCl final. Look at Chelsea and Liverpool.

Point 2: Winning breeds success and a winning mentality. Mentally, United did finish above City last season.

Point 3: OGS laughed at Klopp in both games at Old Trafford. OK they were both draws but Liverpool were clueless to his tactics.

Point 4: Again, a couple of places away from the title.

Point 5: Again, just a matter of bad luck.

That's true. Look how poor City were in the league last year. You just know that Ole's dressing room was a happier one than Pep's after game 38.
