Lacazette just isn't a top player at all, i'm afraid. He was meant to take Arsenal up a level when he joined in 201, but he's just a so so player.

It feels to me like we need to give this team a bit of room now to show us what they can do. We've been going on about defence and midfield for a while now and they've now been improved. Let's see how it gels first rather than immediately jumping on our forward line.
Maybe by January the formation will have changed, the creativity will have improved and Laca will be back to his 'player of the year' self and start knocking them in again for fun and Pepe will start showing some more end product from his undoubtable talent.

Defence was improved by Emi. Leno is the better shot stopper but we are seeing errors and dis-organisation creeping back in.
Our attack has the lowest number of shots in the league, including teams who have played less game than us. Even when we had played 5 and some were still on 3 they had more shots than us.
On a positive note, Partey looks like he will improve our midfield. Hopefully he can both help protect the defence and get the ball forward quicker so we can mount attacks before the defence is backand organised.

With all due respect, many Arsenal fans are tired of this "let's just give them a little more time" approach. Maybe January, maybe next Summer, maybe next season, maybe a new manager, maybe, maybe, maybe...............................

Yeah I get that, we all want the team to be performing well right now. It just seems there always has to be a player people are hating on and if that player improves there will be another player on that hate list within a day.
Pepe looks good until he gets near penalty area then he becomes Sanogo he can do with some Saka nerves and we have ourselves Sane

We can blame him for that. There were far better players out there for half of his price. Not gonna pretend that I knew if he was good before we signed him but it was obvious on his debut vs Liverpool that he was not very good. How can our highly paid scouts and recruiters suggest we spend £72M on a player the average fan can tell is garbage after just one game?
Getting rid of him is not going to be easy.

Wasn’t there something slightly dodgy with the Pepe deal, and we had an investigation into it where it appeared Sanllehi was let go as a result. Obviously the club weren’t happy with how much we paid for Pepe

So far an absolute terrible signing
Saka on the hand looks like £72m player or maybe more and only 19 that’s why am hopeful with Gabriel and Partey strengthening our spine can’t wait to see more of Pablo Mari and Saliba.
We should approach Southampton in January to swap Laca zenith Danny Ings and also offer them loans for either of Nelson or Willock be creative Edu and please don’t extend Lacazette deal he must be sold released.

I said fans were excited by it, practically embarrassing themselves and running up to Rauls car and kissing his feet. My point is you can’t blame him for spending big on him, I actually agree that he’s been poor but fans wanted him. I still think it’s early days and he’s lacking confidence big time.
Mikel Antonio does more against Coty than any of our strikers we lack WC hustlers and I ado like Masuaku as LB solid.
