When you take into account the quality of opposition, I would expect to score plenty of goals against the likes of LASK, Maccabi Haifa, Plovdiv, et al.
But I get what you are saying. The quality of our attack is second to none. Kane and Son are on another level.
Shame the defence has let them down in the league this season.
The quality of opposition?
What about Southampton who drew at Chelsea coming from behind 3-3, or United who have a £80m defender at the back and De Gea, allegedly the best keeper in the league?
Or maybe just maybe, Jose is adapting.
Any good manager can make that transition, and even though he had to leave UTD, still felt he had a lot to give to the game still.
But hey, early doors. And we've already seen 'Spursy' already, so, hopefully you've blown your load too soon...

10 man and a draw
This is getting boring now. Like clockwork, the day after a 3-0 win against a bunch of European part-timers, someone comes on here and blasts the supporters for not particularly liking Mourinho and his style that much. His style is not 5-2, 6-1, 7-2, 3-3 etc but that's what the team are serving up. He'd sacrifice most of those goals for a clean sheet, which makes sense. This Spurs is not his Spurs yet. It was no more evident than on Sunday when we could have gone for the jugular on Sunday and get 4 or 5 but his instruction at half time was clearly, low block, soak up the pressure and play conservatively. It didn't work as he's not happy with his defence. Right now, Jose isn't boring because we're playing a brand of football Jose isn't happy with. He'd take a bunch of 1-0 wins all day long. It's not about that anyway. The scoreline is the headline but I can't say I'm in love with the "smash it up to the front man policy" that we are playing more nowadays. We don't rely on that but it has increased.
Anyway, why can't those of us that loved Poch have an opinion? You have yours so why not wind your neck in? No one is shouting down your opinions every day. For the record, things are on the up and we're looking a lot better but there's nothing more tragic than a gobby supporter screaming "I told you so" before we've had a chance to judge this squad, Jose and our chances over the course of a season. We're 5 games in the league, not won a home game against teams we should have beaten, scraped through to the group stages of the Europa League against a bunch of window cleaners and had two good results against very, very poor opposition in Southampton and United. Yes, Kane and Son are world class. They have been for a long while but please... give it a rest mate. If you're right come the end of the season and we've outscored every other team with a shiny trophy in our cabinet, then come on here and sign his Jose's praises. I'll be the first the congratulate you on your wisdom and foresight. Until then, your point is moot.

What Fridgeboy said
Europa League against a bunch of window cleaners and had two good results against very, very poor opposition in Southampton and United.
==================
Love the narrative!
When we beat a team, they are a very very poor opposition
The same United who have qualified for the CL and were 3rd last season?
Southampton are a very decent outfit and no way can they be classed as a "poor opposition"
You seem to have a problem in supporting the club, because of previous manager?
I was one of Poch's biggest fans and still I am that. Nothing has changed for me
However, I support the club through thick and thin, and I get behind the current manager and I look to see positives in the club and whoever the manager is.
Jose has guided us from a nosedive accident and steered the Spurs plane and steadied up as well.
Cast your mind, to the situation we were in where key players didn't want to stay, new players we bought didn't want to play for us, and the team would turn up at the games and get turned over by even those you call "poor" teams
Now, we are in a much better situation.
Jose also extended the welcome to Poch, in recognition to what he had done with the club, but we move on.
We move on and we support the club and get behind it

Just don't get the anger when you think they are Spurs fans and should be encouraged by what they have seen so far this season.
I mean what? This is Spurs and we haven't won anything for years and for once, we look like a genuine outfit, some folks are crying their eyes and moaning?

Ironically it's just this kind of post the OP is talking about. I was one of those that was regularly 'shouted down' on here for daring to suggest we give Mourinho a chance and see how it pans out before being negative.
Yeah he'll try to protect a 3-0 lead. It's getting good at that that wins you trophies. Remember how Liverpool beat us for the CL?
If you're going to pillory Jose for using tactics you don't like you should at least try to understand them. Heck, you should also give him some credit for getting us in the shape where we have commanding leads in the first place.
Aside from all that I agree - this is not his Spurs yet. We haven't won anything.

You are welcome to say anything you like to me, Sandy. I wouldn't agree that I am a negative supporter.
I think the problem here is that we have completely different opinions on Jose at the moment.
He has been our manager for a year now and in that time I have seen some of the worst football I have ever seen us play. We have gone through periods where we make average teams look like Bayern. I have seen the players look as though they have no clue what their job is out on the pitch.
Since the restart, there has been an improvement. And the business we did in the window was just about perfect. We now have a squad capable of winning trophies. BUT we still struggle to put two good halves of football together.
As I have been saying, rather than getting excited over a 3-0 win against the team 5th in Austria. I will reserve judgement until Nov/Dec when we have played the league's best.

What about Man United and Chelsea or don`t they count. Spurs won both those games.
