Always backed him and always said his all round game was the key to this side.
Doesn’t mean am great, I get loads wrong.
Just stats isnt the end game.
The bigger picture is
I’ve always said he would come good. Intelligent player who knows where to run and when.
Backed him 100% against all my mates who never rated him.
6 from 6, nah not good enough for the premier league.
Having said that he does miss plenty. Even he said he should have scored more tonight.
Enjoying him shutting those haters up.
Drove me absolutely mental last season.
Got in all the right places but couldn't score in a brothel.
Was not a fan. Then I watched the documentary.
Read up about him off the pitch and ended up loving him.
He started the season brilliantly. Best thing of all
was him and Rodrigo on the pitch together. Really
exceptional. Felt he was just off the boil last game
and first half this game.
But holy hell what a hatrick. Just a phenomenal
performance second half. And Rodrigo wow.
I thank the tw 4 T Mings for really p 1 zzing PB off.
He was on fire after that. Glad he's ours.
Having said that he does miss plenty

I don’t worry when a striker misses a few chances
I worry when a striker does get chances
His movement and effort means he gets chances
£7 million? - looking like a boot sale treasure bargain now.
Could he be a 30 goaler?..
Settle for 22 but 30 would be nice!..

spot on.
I wouldn’t have played him in the prem... for all I liked his build up play and work rate I figured we wouldn’t creat enough to justify his miss rate.
Turns out Marcelo bielsa knows more about football than me. What a fcking surprise that is for everybody.
BamBam was always key for me, and the fact we were scoring enough and up the top end of the table I didn't care if it was him or others scoring - but he was always the key player and I always said so.
This streak he is on is the icing on the cake - he will have a barren spell again and the haters will be back.
In Rodrigo, Koch, Raphinha, Klich, Harrison, Bamford, and Costa we have some top class players.
In Ayling, Dallas, Alioski we have players playing like they seem to be Prem players
In Pablo, we have an older magician
In Struijk, Meslier, Poveda, Davis and Shackleton, we have the future
And we haven't even seen Llorente yet
Agree Milky I was the same. Liked him in the squad but suspected he would miss too much in a league where you need to be clinical.
All credit to him. Maybe he is playing more freely without some of those fans giving him aggro in the ground (I know he also gets praise)
He was great, even better in post match interview. Humble and obviously has 100% belief in MB.
Had my doubts but he looks very comfortable at this level so far.
That said, Bamford has scored in patches for us. Last season it was 4 in 4, then no goals for 10 games I think, then another 6 in 4, then no goals for another 10.
The doubters will come back when he goes on a barren run again but he's made a great start.
He missed 3 or 4 chances. Doesn't mean sheet if he scored 3 of the next 4. Only matters when he misses 3 chances and we dont win.
Stood up for the bloke throughout. Playing his best football now when the morons in the crowd are not denting his confidence. You could see he was snatching at chances, passing when he should have been shooting etc. Not easy when so many people were slating him online and before kick-off with ironic jeers. Shame on so so many.
That said i still have many apologies to give Stuart Dallas. Slagged him online for being a fat pudding winger who couldnt beat a man.
Hatrick Bamford is thanks for the FPL points.
He played a bigger part in last years Championship than people give him credit for - yes he had his barn door Billy moments but his hold up play was exceptional at times.
The skipper appreciated PB.
As performances go, that’s up there with the best from the boys!

Still a Bamford hater at heart then Shaun?
On Bamford.
He did waste a lot of chances the two previous seasons.
I was never among the "haters" though, because if Bielsa has faith, I have faith. Though at times it was hard to keep that faith.
The PL is a little more open, than the Champ, with teams coming at you, and thus maybe, it suits him more.
Still very early days though, and we'll see, but keep hoping
he probably has more goals now then some thought he would get in the year.
