I agree with what Spart will soon be saying.

When the sound is eee as in feet, It is no longer considered to be a spelling rule as there are too many exceptions.

Yes VC10, I am wondering where the evidence for Bielik's skill is. I only ask this because I have seen him play a few times. His contribution of 0 goals, 0 assists, 1 red card and injuring himself in the warm up doesn't seem to support reason's for Rameses's praise.

Spart hates Shinnie as well. Many times he has declared how little he offers the team, but he looks like he’s doing well at the moment. In general, the quicker Spart writes off a player, the better he is, so on those grounds alone we should have high hopes for

I agree with most of that Rameses.
Despite the occasional mistake (not so many recently?), I dont think we should underestimate the value of Curtis' leadership and organisational qualities. Without him, Wisdom & te Wieik have looked lost positionally at times. Think he guides Buchanan too, as he's been much better with Davies in the side.
Regarding Knight/Shinnie, I would suggest theyre starting to forge a formidible partnership. Just wish Jason had made the run for Shinnies chance in the first half

Spart it’s a question of options. Beilik can defend at international level and also play DM at international level.
As stated he’s a DM or CB. Goals and assists aren’t really stats to highlight proficiency in these areas.
It’s only my opinion but I would play him instead of Clarke. He has more in his locker and he is our player so we should be interested in improving him rather than Brighton’s Clarke.

Beeeelik I meant to say.

The fact that Clarke is a loanee shouldn’t have a bearing on whether he or Davies should play. Clarke has more chance of being a Derby player next season than Davies I would guess. If Davies plays in a three then surely he should be in the middle where he can organise the best.

Let’s face it, Bielik isn’t going to replace anyone in the immediate future. He will need to be nursed back into the squad after a long lay off, probably coming on as a sub to begin with to give one of the midfielders a breather or maybe if Cocu wants to switch formation. Davies is getting on in years and if he or someone else gets injured the decision might become a bit more straightforward.

I cannot see any point replacing Clarke, our best defender with Bielik who is a great midfielder and was criticised when he was played at the back

Have I stepped in to a parallel universe where a player who has achieved nothing so far is thought to be a great player? Other than looking good in Charlton's promotion year please can someone tell me what he has achieved. I have pointed out that it is nothing for us so far except put a big dent in the bank balance.

I do like the look of his compatriot though. Pacey, a bit of trickery and should already have a goal next to his name. Anyone else but me think he resembles James Cagney. Some dirty rat of a linesman robbed him though.

Not seen much of Shinnie as I refuse to pay to see the games on Rams TV until the club return my money for the Forest game from last April. I will have to believe you that he has improved. His discipline appears to better anyway.

I think the team that started against Forest is the best we have ATM. Those players should keep the shirts no matter who becomes available. It's up to the players coming back to bide their time and force their way into the squad. I don't think anyone quite knows what to make of Bielik ATM. He's a quality player IMO but time will tell where he fits. Unless we get another spate of injuries then our bench will be looking good.
