Creativity is the real issue

Yes he’s really lacking a plan in attack or when we play in games where we have most possession. Artetas way at moment only seems to be most effective when we don’t have the ball much, and play on counter or jump on mistakes and get turnovers.

At the moment Any team that stays organised at back and doesn’t mess up will have a good chance of beating or at least drawing with us because we don’t have enough imagination to kill off teams.

I hope this is just bit of bad form or Arteta figures something out. If we can create more chances we’ll be a pretty decent side because defensively we’ve improved, it’s just attacking where we lack. While it’s not always been great We’ve seen us be better than this going forward under Arteta so I hope this is just a dip in form, but either way we have to do better. If this become a longer issue we won’t get higher than 8th no matter how solid we are at the Back

The two positive things we can take from the game are Gabreil and Partey who both performed impeccably.

Difficult to discuss "positves" when for the second week in a row Arsenal loses and Arsenal also fails to score!

If we cannot win our home games against the so-called tougher opponents, then Arsenal has no hope for this season".

With empty stadiums, there really is no home field advantage so far this season, other than how to qjuickly find the toilets.
This Arsenal team sucks and it's manager is clueless. However, undoubtably the usual cluster of Gunner worshippers will come up with their usual lame excuses and positive platitudes.

As an old saying goes: you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig! Arsenal...oink!, oink, oink!

So glad u took Willian off us, I see he didn’t play today, arteta already realised or was he injured?
Arsenal like chelsea seem to be struggling with their correct formation and best 11. Doesn’t look fluid at all

To be honest, I thought Arsenal played okay up until Vardy came on. Arteta seems to have developed an inferiority complex, where when the opposition has any threat level going forward, he just focuses on trying to keep them out, rather than scoring. And when you have 0 points and only 1 goal from games against teams who finished above you last season, you have to question that strategy. As much as creativity is an issue, you aren't going to create much when your whole focus is on being compact and nullifying the opposition

We played "well" first half, just didn't have any real threat or quality from central areas. Too dependent on wing play to create. Unlucky to get a goal ruled out with VAR, and lacazette missing from a yard out.

Leicester sussed us second half, we didn't take any risks, and they pounced on a lapse in concentration from mustafi.

We had the same damn issue last season against the low block. We had all summer to address the MF and what do we do, but a defensive minded MF and loan out Guendouzi and Torreira who are both better than Elneny and Xhaka.

Our attacking play and creativity has been on such a decline for so long, I just don't see how we will ever get it back

I thought Leicester were there for the taking. Few young players, missing Sayuncho, Pereira, Mendy. Vardy on the bench just back from injury. Poor run after two defeats.

Seems no easy games with no fans but then expect shock results. Tough games coming in the league with tight schedules but Arsenal can play its second team in Europe and still top the group.

Watching Arsenal is almost vomit inducing. All that so called possession and I really can't think of 1 clear chance in the 2nd half (maybe that Bellerin shot)

The thing is what surprised me most was Arteta put Xhaka on LCB position instead of his favourite position, which is sitting deep in midfield and could have played the same type of longer balls as D. Luiz did in the first half over the top to our runners. So you're not wrong Arteta didn't show any imagination against Leicester and it was a big game because our rivals have dropped points this weekend.

It doesn't matter if it's an empty stadium. It's an advantage that you're playing in your home pitch. It's an opportunity missed.

Willian has been dreadful for over three games or more. He needs to raise his game because on the wings Arsenal can change things if it doesn't work out.

Also why can't AMN get a game. He has been excellent for the 3-4-3 formation at the start of the season and end of last season.

Arsenal fans won't accept negative results with inflexible tactics. He needs to pick up points or he'll be under pressure to keep his job. He has quality young players, but he's not even using them against less quality teams like the Europa League group. If Willock and Nelson can knock Leicester out from the league cup away from home. Why can't they get a game in the Europa League against weak opponents?

Surely you can't be serious? It is the crowd, vocal in either encouagement or dismay, that can makes the difference!
btw: Did someone forget to tell Arteta and his players that Vardy was a goal threat??? Arsenal, once again, fails to rise to the occasion, and it won't be the last time. Good luck!

1 for this:

"It is also mindboggling to see Ozil who has been our best creative player in the team cannot make into the Premier League or the Europa League squad."
