Why would a next manager not like Partey and Gabriel?

Why did Arteta not like Torreira?

Same reason Emery didn't, too lightweight and a girls blouse who cried a lot

Let's not forget Emery tried to make LT a #10

Nothing about this was said within 2 months of him being at the club. If anything, he probably started just as well as Partey with everyone happy that we finally signed a DM. Fast forward 2 years later and popularity dropped dramatically.

But that is not the point. Partey or Gabriel might not be the next manager choice. For whatever the reasons. It will not be "their" players.

But it was under the manager who was here when we signed LT that he dropped dramatically. That is a quality issue, and you would hate for a manager new or old to persist with someone not suited. If Partey or Gabriel aren't good enough then it is good for a new manager to get rid, although I doubt either will be in that position.

We can't expect a new manager to come in and sort out a shambles in 6 months. Partey and Gabriel look quality. Kola, Mustafi, Ozil to some extent have never been quality. Our transfers and squad building has been our biggest problem for years, doesn't matter who the manager is if he has total garbage players to work with. I rate Arteta and will give him time to see what he can do. 3 at the back and the defensive football is because of the limitations of the current players imo and will change when we get a creative mid.

Yes I do agree the creativity does need to improve....

Boom,
I checked the Oxford dictionary for alternative meanings for the word "creativity" and did not see the words "energy", "passion", "skill", "dedication".
I watched Southhampton play this week-end and I would trade that starting eleven for this much more expensive Gunner bunch.

You also talk about patience and the shifting of underperforming players around and then things MIGHT get better? This has been tried for at least the past three seasons without success in the PL. It reminds me of my old friend Albert Einstein's remark about INSANITY as the repeating of the same actions over and over again and expecting a different result.

It might be interesting to privately ask each member of the squad a simple question: "Do you really want to play for Arsenal?" If the response is not a resounding "YES", then place them in the second string and tell them they should start thinking about a club that they would like to play for.

Meltdowns are more about the crap football and utter borefest that games are I think OP. It's one thing to play some cracking football, come up short and lose the game. Completely different to bore the hell out of your fans with dreadful backward passing football, then lose.

The squad may be weak in comparison to some of our rivals but it's not so weak that we have to be more defensive than a bloody league 2 side playing in an FA cup quarter final. It's mind-numbing to watch our games at the moment. About as UN-Arsenal as it gets in the PL era. I'm happy to give Arteta plenty of time, if he's going to play entertaining attacking football to try to win games. But if his plan is this "defend, defend, pass it backwards and defend more, then nick a goal from a long ball" crap. He can do one asap as far as I'm concerned. And I'd be saying that if he was playing this way and winning.

If he wants his team to play boring, slow paced sh !tty football, then he should have gotten himself a job in Spain. This is the English PL and boring slow paced footy ain't what we do here. At least it isn't meant to be anyway. No meltdown, just bored to death already with his tactics.

If only we could go back to days of asking for our manager to be sacked and flying planes with messages for him to leave after finishing 2nd

Filtered you long ago because you are a nonce but was reading without logging in.

Einstein never actually said that, what you are thinking of is: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results".

Einstein is famously misquoted, today still as having said this but it was not in fact him.

Same meaning! But i'll be sure to check with Albert when we have tea tomorrow.

btw: Individuals who waste time filtering others on JA606 really need a life!!!!

Actually we save a lot of time filtering things that are not worth reading.

Sounds like you are into Necrophilia - can't be much left of him now mind. Anyway, there's no need to check, it's a fact, half of the internet hasn't realised this yet sadly and are still putting Albert Einstein next to the quote.

No surprise to me that you found yourself in that half

Necrophillia! Let,s not drag your partner into this.

Amazing! Filtering gives "us?" the ability to decide what is not worth reading by first reading it.

I mentioned this "filtering" thing to Albert this morning and he smiled and said:
"Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal".
,,,,,,,,Have a wonderful life!

Not sure why you are still talking to a dead man who you call your friend but are happy to misquote.

Pretty sad that your one and only friend is imaginary and pretty pathetic/hypocritical/unoriginal to try and return the necro insult to me when you claim to be talking to the dead.

Anyway, back to not-wasting-my-time reading your trash.

Because, even dead, he is much more intelligent than you. However, you are certainly qualified to be part of the Arsenal hierarchy as they continue to steer the Gunners towards10th place.

Nasty little thin-skinned person aren't you!
Enough of you, please go troll someone else!!!!
