If Rashford had scored his chance there wouldn't have been a 'Chelsea showing'

(he must have had his mind on something else).

Has he now?

The Chelsea showing or cowering would suggest otherwise.

....

Cowering? We had 14 shots at their goal. Stop being a drama queen.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sounding like an octogenarian version of Hafi 😂

Yet we scored how many? It finished 0-0. I bet it was the most exciting match for you, right? It was drab, it was boring. It was played with the hand brake on.

We should have placed more pressure from the off with James nowhere near the starting line up.

I feel like I need to write an article defending Ole. Some of the comments i'm seeing just aren't acceptable at all. He's proven he can manage United, look at the post lockdown form.

That draw felt like defeat,

...

No it didn’t. Stop being a fairy.

Oh yes playing for a pt against a disappointing chelsea side was worth rejoicing. 😂

Results are not enough, I want to see arrogant, stylish football.

Indeed. Maybe one day we’ll see it again.

I really don’t understand the strange reaction to a 0-0 draw with Chelsea. If it were Burnley or Charlton, fine. But it was Chelsea. We’re clearly starting to turn a corner after a poor start, and we had the better chances against Chelsea in a cagey game. We also registered a clean sheet.

I also think Ole has done the right thing by adding bite, energy and balance to the midfield. It’s helped us look more secure and given us a bit of a platform now to build from. And again, I stress... It was Chelsea - a team that we’ve always found tricky even under Fergie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see where you are coming from but I respectfully disagree. We didn't even try to win that game. Ole wanted a draw from before kick off. He was smiling at the end. This Chelsea was there for the taking. We have just beat PSG, it was time to kick on and instead he had us out there playing with fear. That's not the United way.

None. Not sure how that equates to cowering. It wasn’t like we didn’t try to score or their keeper pulled off two cracking saves one right at the death.

We have been so focussed on results that we have neglected to hold Ole accountable for the style of play. Yes, we have looked goof in spells, but we still rely heavily on individual moments. Other than that build up play is slow and laboured.

This. Exactly.

Ole will have to win every game for ever, to stop the bile from his haters.

I feel like u gentlemen.

I thought Chelsea were equally as bad, both teams were there for the taking but nobody wanted to take risks. Rashford got through after a mistake in midfield from Chelsea but bar that there was nothing. No team really created a self made chance. Awful

Cautious approach against a trash defence is not bravery, is it? Our usual approach against them under Ole would have resulted in a win, no doubt.

Like I said earlier pressure should have been placed from the off, wearing them down for the kill later on.

No one said it was. You seem to be writing a lot of stuff no one has said.

Are you than thick?

Plump

Since when have Chelsea been trash? They are a serial Champions League team.

This is ridiculous.

No I don't think so, not on here for sure, and not in the media I read or listen to.

Defence has been Frank's achilles heel. Ole well and truly has his number that is why the draw was so disappointing.

There is a difference between being happy and being suicidal and calling for the managers head. Why does everything have to be so polarised on here?

Indeed. I don't think anyone is angry at the result it's the manager's attitude towards the game and the quality of football on display. We had most of our top players sitting on the bench too.

So you are indifferent?

Neither happy nor disappointed?

Who is lying? Pile on the pressure from the off, they would have cracked, made errors no doubt. That is how pressure works.

It's called accountability.

No one calling for his head though on the proviso things change.
