Life kicks you down sometimes, and that period in particular, was hard for me. No doubt other on here all have "their times" they relate to.
That said, I am certainly more than upbeat with our team at present. Levy has his critics ( sometimes quite rightly ) but he has come through for the club and us this season,
Irrespective of the things that knock us down, our support for our team, and their next result never goes away.
For me, this year has been a turning point. Yes, it was a travesty that the team under Poch didn't win anything. The CL final defeat was, and always will be a particular low point. But I personally feel this time around, with Jose in charge, we may, just may correct that.
Right, that's enough of the sensible posts, my usual posts will now resume.

On the subject of being optimistic about Spurs, although I don’t quite have the optimism of Sandy (who does?!), it’s worth noting that currently:
Best goal difference in the league.
Most goals scored in the league.
Only team in the league unbeaten since opening day.
Top scorer in the league (Son).
Top assister in the league (Kane).
Top passer in the league (Hojbjerg).
Two points off top place.
We’re really quite good at the moment. It’s a long season and very early days but anyone moaning or complaining about our team currently needs to have a good look at themselves.

Yeah I’ve got to admit I was surprised as just how many of those stats we are top of. And those kind of stats are often a good indicator of trends in terms of where a team is heading.
Mourinho have come up with a tactic which suits the team better. Kane dropping deep and Son making the runs behind the opponent defence. You play a lot narrower with the width coming from the fullbacks.
