About time LiverPEDs got called out on their actions

Robdopeho Firmino, Stedio Mane, Winjectnaldum, Xherdan Shāgeari, Andrew Roiderson and the most obvious, Vanabolic Dilk. Refuse to believe any of their success has come from talent, hard work and application ffs

OP, I have read now your last three articles, 2 of which have nothing in them and the only one that has is the one third from bottom.

Reading that article, I see where you're trying to link the stories and what you are trying to achieve!

I am an asthmatic so would probably benefit from inhaled salbutamol with an accumulated dosage not exceeding 1600 µg over a 24-hour period, if I was an athlete who needs to run at high levels - fast pace!

I think the question being asked is that the fact that high proportions of Liverpool players use salbutamol - (being asthmatic) and needing to run faster and longer, they could or are abuse or abusing the dosage to enable them to have oxygen levels that would supply enough for that kind of high intensity games?

That's what this article talks about (your link):

https://ethos.bl.uk/OrderDetails.do?uin=uk.bl.ethos.697534

The article ends with this - which is interesting, paraphrasing them "Overall, salbutamol, the intake of which is restricted by WADA, did not have an ergogenic effect on athletes"

In relation to caffeine consumption, the article mentions enhancements to performance to "athletes" but does not show any scientific data, or does not elaborate on what type of performance enhancements, or not even what type of athletes specifically benefit from the consumptions. No mentions of dosage required to gain the enhancements either.

Also, caffeine by itself isn't the issue as per the article. I quote "caffeine and theobromine, the usage of which are not controlled at all in sports competitions, had a performance enhancing effect on athletes, according to our results"

It would have to be a few months of Klopp and his team, either injecting somehow "caffeine and theobromine" to each player somehow?

I don't see many players wanting this. Everyone is different, but a lot of players want to stay clean and have a healthy lifestyle.

Your other two links (2nd bottom and bottom links) are just random Google word search links.

Ok OP have read 3 of the ones you linked here.

I agree about the cycling off period, having played this game before. That's true. Teams and players individually cycle off, and their form and performance drop.

The fact that Liverpool players performed at a high level for 2 seasons, could as I can see it, to a lower levels of performance this season. That's very much a human trait. I am sure Klopp and his team know about this. Hell, I'd say Klopp has already put in place changes to counteract this - I am sure of that. Top managers know about physiological and physical aspects of each player at the club. They study them at length.
You see Mourinho talk about a player, he mentions stats. So I expect Liverpool management have already anticipated this.
The addition to the squad is part of this process of taking action against cycling off.

However, the rest of the content in those articles have no scientific data behind it. The authors say, Mr X and Mr Y were employed by club A or club B for the enhancements at their club.
Yes, where is the scientific evidence of what Mr X or Mr Y did or brought to the clubs?
Talking about Ronaldo and making him an example is also a cop-out. Ronaldo trains harder than anyone and his diet is the most impressive I have ever seen or heard from a footballer. He is bound to be so lean etc.

So other than making some bold statements, nothing scientific is offered in any of those articles. Caffeine enhanced performance is nothing new but to make a team win the title, don't think so!

You need to click at the bottom to access the more detaiked scholarly articles. Caffeine doping is nothing new and the science behind it is well documented. Klopp has said on record about his 'potion' which was developed by a medal winning German swimmer.

I'm not saying anything underhand is going on, the players need to cycle off which is why we are seeing an increase in injuries to their squad. That's my only point of this article.

Maybe the muscle injuries players are getting has something to do with the fact that their bodies are not prepared for this disjointed season perhaps? Starting late, a strange pre-season, games all over the place etc.

Not caffeine and performance enhancers.

Yes, and don't underestimate the effects of not having the crowd there.

Players love to have fans in the stadium and that's why they ask for their support (which means turning up to games) when the team is going through a bad patch.

Without fans, I am sure there are mental side effects which really the PL should investigate.

Fans should be allowed in even if it means 2 meter gaps between them.

Players love the buzz and the noise, and they must be craving for them

Tbf though, you waffle on about doping but you also say there is nothing illegal about it in sport anyway. So what's your point? Surely if this was true, you'd be loving it because it means the medical team, sports scientists and players alike are doing something wrong, leading to poor results.

Why do you care being an Evertonian? Or is it the constant obsessive nature with Liverpool.

Thanks OP, I had no idea Liverpool cheated with doping on top of the bribes we already knew about. Not surprising though.

This is why we have been signing players from RB Liepzig and RB Salzburg recently. It wasn't the players themselves that we were after, they were just mules who drove the lorries of red bull over to Melwood and are now waiting around to take the empties back.
