I didn't know what grinding was till I played this game
Played Dark Souls 2 after hearing it was a modern version of Ghouls and Ghosts.
Never again, don't get the appeal whatsoever.
Bit of a stretch to compare them as one was a side to side platformer, very different style of gaming back then.
More fun though, they all were. Games aren't really 'fun' anymore.
I never understand why some people complain about a game not being for them. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean another person won't love it, and part of the reason I don't like recommending games. To each their own.
Baztard is itching to have a go at this game, and will probably make short work of it.
for me this is probably the next gen game I am most interested in, not that I am particularly good at them, but can appreciate the challenge, even if it takes me ten times longer than Baz to complete
I originally thought they were doing a 'new' dark souls game to be honest rather than re-making the first one.
Take my money now Sony. Seriously need a ps5 in my life.
Hope all the people that have pre-ordered from actual stores are lucky enough that those stores operate some kind of click and collect service!
Imagine having a confirmed release day pre-order but choosing to collect in store, then the store being shut for 2 weeks after the release day

I will definitely be buying this game when I get a PS5 summer/autumn time next year.
I am currently fighting my way through DS3 which I downloaded from the PS store fairly cheaply.
Having only played Bloodbourne from the Fromsoftware guys I have to admit DS3 for me is on an another level in terms of difficulty.
I screamed the house down yesterday afternoon after I beat the Abyss Watchers
It was probably around my 50th attempt. After around 20 attempts I just farmed and farmed souls but still had no luck. I thought I had beat them on maybe the 4th go, but they all die and the main one re-spawns and attacks you with fire
My final strategy paid off, removed more or less all my armor and giving me the stamina to attack the shhhit out of him
